"I think they're great at what they do" referring to The 1975. What a good opinion. A lot of people are thrown off by the pop sound but no one understands how intricate the musicianship on that record is.
I love Aaron and Spencer, but for two guys who make such passionate and unique music, you'd expect a much more interesting answer out of them than just listing the biggest alternative bands right now (The 1975, The Neighbourhood, Twenty One Pilots.)
rocket83cs They were asked what they're currently listening to and they answered. Would you prefer they give some bullshit contrived answer? This is also with AP, whose fanbase is a bunch of fangirls who don't know a thing about music outside of those shitty, poppy bands they mentioned such as TOP and 1975. I was happy to hear them say old TBS and Saosin.
Kayla Rupert seeing recent interviews, it's clear that they are 100 percent stoned here lol. They never ever sound this relaxed or conversational....ever
Its so cool when a band I like likes another band that I like (by that I mean i like tøp and Underoath, and now I have learned that Underoath are tøp fans) also I had no idea Aaron and josh were friends that’s even cooler
where did the rest of the interview go? you cut aaron off half way through his sentence making an interesting point about neighbourhoods 'RIP to my youth' song!
spencer just looks like he’s suffering through everything aaron is saying lol, like “when is he gonna stop talking about his shitty sugar pop music, dear god make it stop”
I noticed a change in him too. Not one that bothers me per se but I just don't find myself thinking 'Yes! I completely agree.' when listening to him speak anymore. He seems to have a lot more confidence now, which I can respect. Good for him. I guess I got older and more opinionated as well.
There is an honesty that comes from not having to filter yourself in an interview. I like to see a man who wears his flaws unapologetically. I like Aaron MORE because of this.
right, but it's still a weird dichotomy considering he was trying to pastor a church in new york and just got done going around preaching all over the world last year or a couple years ago.
+Brandon Noneya I don't know. Personally I find it more relatable. I'm a part of the blue collar world, and this is the common vernacular; makes me feel like I'm less of a failure to see someone that people place on a pedestal with 'faults of his own'. Additionally, I don't think one's reputation should hinge on whether or not you toss around the occasional curse word; how fragile is that?
their relationship is so much healthier now
They're both really down-to-earth dudes, good stuff.

all these underoath videos are fucking dope
Aaron is so patient with Spencer i love it
They don't even sound like they want to do interviews recently, here they sound so far more relaxed
I could honestly listen to Aaron talk for hours lol
That TBS plug. Louder Now is one of the greatest albums of all time front to back.
Is there a part 2? why did it cut Aaron off?
aaron came to my church to perform once and i got to meet him. he's pretty cool irl
i miss underoath
this just got me giddy because it reminded me of the meet & great of the rebirth tour. One of the best days of my life.
greet*
I'd like to imagine a Twenty One Pilots, Underoath, The 1975, The Neighbourhood tour.
Jacob Lyons that would make my head hurt 😂
I'd still like to imagine it.
Lmao fuck off
Huh???????
I don't need reasons not to go

tweeted awhile ago sleepwave and the neighborhood should tour to spencer. This needs to happen!
Backsound song please
I want that led Zeppelin book!
where did the rest of the interview go? you cut aaron off half way through his sentence making an interesting point about neighbourhoods 'RIP to my youth' song!

spencer just looks like he’s suffering through everything aaron is saying lol, like “when is he gonna stop talking about his shitty sugar pop music, dear god make it stop”
In the video I watched right before this Spencer was the one wearing a Nirvana shirt
Muy buena charla, parecen muy felices con lo que han vivido, un poco mas Aaron que Spencer, solamente un poco.
Please made one with Crown The Empire! :)
It seems like Aaron is less preachy now, I like it
is there a part 2?
Nope. Just one part. But here's another interview if you'd like to watch more!
th-cam.com/video/CfNneFlUTFE/w-d-xo.html
+Alternative Press Thanks guys
Why does it randomly cut off at the end?
ahh yes, the classic “we don’t listen to heavy music anymore”.
I wanna see a singer (not a hard vocalist but someone who actually sings) and guitarist from a metal band play some flamingo shit.
shouts out to the neighborhood. lol @ duncan sheik
First Spencer cut off Aaron a bunch, and then even the video does as well....
Yeah vertical horizon..90s weren't bad at all
the 1975 are the best!
What the fuck.... Aaron isn't the same person. I refuse to believe it.
Actually I was kinda annoyed of Aaron. He changed really much.
I noticed a change in him too. Not one that bothers me per se but I just don't find myself thinking 'Yes! I completely agree.' when listening to him speak anymore. He seems to have a lot more confidence now, which I can respect. Good for him. I guess I got older and more opinionated as well.
+Josiah Merola yes, it's surely good that he has confidence :)
Because you know him so well?
Damn. I'm pretty sad. I know Aaron still believes is still a Christian but listening to him curse more than spencer hurt. Still love him.
Cursing is not against religion lol.

yeah, same. i'm on the same page.
21 pilots are awful.
Yup they don't even count as a band...
