thanks for this, i have just retuirned to the game after a long absence and been trying to find incursion players to run this with. No joy yet. but now i understand the mechanics and techniques to run it. I used to enjoy speed running raids and legendaries. Videos have been great help to get me familiar with the game again and what's what with builds. Keep up the content, very informative and enjoyable. Loved hearing all the laughter and f$@k ups at the end to show it not all business and rainbows.
Nice way of showing how to do this several ways and without ouroboros for players that don't have it. I like the lovebird strat but I usually run random and players like to battle it out in the kiddie zone lol
Excellent… I have maybe 5 clears so I’m very casual and don’t have the oreo yet (RN Jesus isn’t looking down at me favorably). I’ve never seen some of these strats, and I like the hive ideas…. Thanks for a great video!!
It's good to see to the b-roll and outtakes as well, especially when you shot the chunga's tank too close. It's nice to know that happens to everyone, not just us "casual guys". ;p ---Side note: we always pop the barrels before starting the tanker fight, just to keep it from catching us off guard. Would that affect your group's specific play style/strategy in that area?
I leave that one particular barrel on the stairs un-popped. It's so I can get a better angle on the heavy that comes out that manhole. It does mean that I've been barrelled there more than a few times.
It may worth explaining why your whole group uses the ACR/LEFTY/Rock n' Roll on Wright vs the St Elmos.... (I understand why, but convincing the other players in my group will be a true headache.) Cheers!
@@fogowar2022 100%, all true. And it makes sense if you follow the "balance" of the game as it seems the devs have calculated toward. And if you follow your videos which center on average range per mission/encounter, it shows why ARs have somewhat risen to the top in terms of preferred weapon choice. Now it's just a matter of re-explaining that that wasn't because of a "max dmg" choice... Anyways, as always, CHEERS! Great vid!
@@SaltyOldBaldurian I have plans to put the max damage weapons for all ranges into one video. Now I've done the ground work with ARs, the rest should be easier.
Hey, Thanks really good. Can you do a vid for the really really casual who doesn't have friends to play with and is solely dependent on matchmaking to get a run. Thanks
The first method should be good for a matchmade group. It comes down to communicating it to the group. If I get some time over the holidays, I might run some PUGs.
i feel your pain, literally just started playing again and randoms are sometimes a nightmare, my first couple of matchmakes they couldn't pass the turret section. i'm on PS5 and Matchmaking is a struggle sometimes, most of my raid friends have stopped playing now.
Nice video, you don’t really need a survivalist healer since wright is immune to fire and the lovebirds are immune to all hazards, it’s probably best to run a demo or even sharpshooter healer and having 2 firewalls
@@fogowar2022 what I said was he was immune to fire from the grenades, so it’s difficult to get him on status, you’ll probably get more damage from 10% damage to the other firewall, don’t think you need the minor extra healing on incursions but it’s a minor difference anyway. All good
One of our key strats for Wright is to shock him in place after he loses immunity and the xtra 10% dmg is useful there. We've tried a few different combos. When you skip the 2waves on Wright, you cant change builds for LB because you're still "in combat", so this combo is where we've settled for now. We also found, at least in the firing range, instances of 2 xfirewalls actually cancelling each other's buff. So we figured 1x demo, 1 x firewall was optimal.
You said that you are using the Kard to get to skill tier 6 but that is unnecessary as BTSU gloves always give overcharge even from tier 1 unlike go-bag and future perfect. Is this an oversight or am I missing something?
still a pretty specialized, synergistic breakdown to push the speedrunning angle with a crew, but neat walk-through. a lot of folks just fundamentally don't have a crew with which to practice execution, let alone have specialized builds to free up roles or approach contents in a slightly different way (last section especially). matchmaking solo lyfe is ruff. remote pulse is also a nicer way to get the 15% OC buff and not have to 'use' the skill- just toss it and it's fire and forget for the OC damage bonus. works well for lovebirds especially. edit- like the scorpio angle, and ya some people like to use bloody knuckles for lovebirds, especially if they are on sledgehammer proccing duties.
I think stage 1 can be be the matchmaking solo strat. Takes limited builds and comms. Bloody knuckles/achilles/DCH are all strats we abandoned for simplicity. We've started trying again to squeeze further time. The remote pulse is an interesting idea which we might try.

Thanks for this Fog. Life has been busy and I have not even done the Incursion, beyond snooping around solo when it launched.
Cool vid, it reminds me of how much fun the game still provides
Hopefully there's more Incursions to come.
Yeah big time! It’s caught me by surprise how much I’ve enjoyed this content

The 4x hive method will help with kiddie zone too but it is way easier and faster taking the fight to the LB.

Congrats on getting the speedrun bug!
Lack of time has always stopped me starting. Now I'm worried I won't be able to stop.

@@fogowar2022 :D ....the price of playing for "speed". ;p

The basic rule for max damage in this game is 0-7m = shotguns, 7-15m = SMG, 15-35m = ARs.
@24:50 - 40Mill per Scorpio round is why I use shotguns.

So assuming you're very close range like in the boss fights. Does scorpio/acs out perform ouro there? Nice to know shotguns still have their place tho
At an equivalent headshot ratio, the shotguns will outperform.

Wright is not immune to status effects. It also gives the healer extra PFE and extra outgoing heals.

The goal is to overcharge for the team and for that gloves need to be at tier six

It can. It's been done solo.
