I can't believe some of the comments on here. Atleast they're out there doing their thing. They are both great people who have done alot to keep their shit moving. I personally love all of their music.

@@beatlefreak1993 on one hand I'm surprised we met at the Brick and Mortar when these guys were there at the end of February this year, what a fantastic show... except for that one dude at the end. On the other hand we know how good these two are when they're truly live... feeding off of the crowd's energy. Plus they're playing some of their chillest songs in a studio. They're just calm in that setting. Put them back in front of that crowd and all of a sudden it's up to 150%. We know how it really is and that's good enough for the true fans.
KnowMads have always been hands down the most dedicated hip hip duos in the game, they will always be my favorite because their grind. Check out Knew School or Complex Animals if you wanna hear some real music

I don’t listen to a lot of hip-hop, but I do like for the lyrics to be intelligent. The rappers I like that I was introduced to here on KEXP were Brother Ali, Common Market, High Decibels, Zion I, and maybe there were a couple more. Through the NPR Tiny Desk Concerts, I found out about The Crossrhodes, Mumu Fresh, and maybe another artist. I like old skool hip-hop, too...just not when they’re formulaic and talk about NOTHING. Fallon and Corden usually have artists on their shows that I think are lame, too. I like new music and discovering new artists to obsess over, but I’m probably also getting into my curmudgeon years, where I’m a lot pickier than when I was young.
Jay Bell - 🤣 There’s nothing to analyze or understand here. These guys are taking about the most generic and mundane things. They “aspire” towards the most meaningless existence...but that said, this world is made up of all kinds of people, and nature meant for it to be diverse. We each deserve to experience the types of artistic expression that move us, so I may think this music is complete crap, but if it gives you life, then that can’t be dismissed. We have different sensibilities, and even if art can be evaluated objectively for its value, to a certain degree, a lot of it IS subjective, by nature. I’m glad you can groove with this, and that these guys have an avid fan in you.
