The Finale and "What could have been" by Sting had broken my soul and made me cry like a Baby. That was Peak Animation, Emotion and Music for Me, We will miss you Silco!

I find myself singing What Could Have Been a lot. Definitely the one that has stood out for me the most, hitting me in the feels.

Congratulations to all the production team!! Animators, musicians, art directors, voice actors, writers, and everyone who has worked on this huge project, you did an AMAZING work. The high quality of the series didn't only surprised LoL fans but also commun people like me who love cinema. My father is one of those people who used to think animation is only for kids but when I showed him Arcane (and a couple of anime series) he couldn't stop watching, and now is a big fan of Arcane and some others animated projects.
Occidental animation need more projects like this, animation projects are so underrated that there are many people who have no idea the big amount of work behind them and treat them as something childish inferior to live action productions.
Sorry if I made English mistakes, it's not my first language.
Thanks to you and all the people involved in creating this amazing show! If it wasn't for you all, we wouldn't have the chance to experience Arcane.

You absolutely crushed it!!! I'm not typically a fan of animated series but every level of the production is God tier especially the soundtrack and score which add the final dimension to the animation, voice work, sound design, etc.
Christian's unwavering dedication and passion for a project like Arcane to come into fruition is so inspiring.
It's such a rarity to see this days creatives being able to do something on their own.

Man let me say this, the music was THE element that made Arcane, Arcane. I mean some songs still make me emotional by just listening to them and remembering the moment when I first heard it in the series, the combo of the events and beautiful music just made everything work perfectly without any mistakes or anything. It was perfect and thank you for changing my way of life by guiding me with your music. Respect Riot music team

@@silver9wolf6 Most of the original characters are based on their voice actors and even the champs are slightly twisted in their facial features to resemble their voice actor more, that way they can connect easier to them and it also makes it easier for the animators to animate them when they have video footage of the voice actors recording their lines with the expressions they make and how their lips/facial muscles move

The music in Arcane serves more as a method of storytelling rather than just aesthetic choices, and that's really cool

Not to be that guy, but that's the role of music in all films and shows. Any filmmaker worth their salt will do their absolute best to ensure the music is part of the story.

The Ekko Vs Jinx fight will forever be one of the most amazing scenes I've ever seen on screen. The combination of everything is just... It's just what makes Arcane so special.
The Sting choice was SO CORRECT. The way he sounds so RIGHT at the scene - it's very impressive.
It goes to show that when companies with a lot of money actually give leniency to the creators and don't pressure them to conform to shareholder interest and deadlines, that wonderful things can be created. Riot just continues to collect W's everywhere they go and with everything they touch.
Yeah, when you let artists do their thing without pressuring them, they will always deliver an excellent quality of work. Especially if the artist working on it would be emotionally attached and passionate about the thing they're working on, they will always exceed what you expect of them. That's what I like about the top management of Riot. The secret to success of Riot Games was simply having an ear to the community and letting their talents do their thing.
Except the whole point of all these is " The pressure was immense" XD, sure, the share holder kinda let them do their thing but that doesn't change they all worked under a LOT of pressure.
Kinda insane to think ‘hey this guy who was working entry level 5 years ago answering support tickets wants to make a half a billion dollar animated series’ and they were like ‘oh yeah go for it’
@@azarakh13 The pressure was immense because they wanted/needed to create something great. Artists thrive under that kind of pressure. Not the same as having a bunch of suits breathing down your neck and meddling.

YES FINALLY AN EPISODE ON THE MUSIC! I’m a huge music nerd, it’s such an interesting and often overlooked part of any media, live action or not. It adds layers and amazing flare to a scene and is pretty difficult to nail down. Sometimes the music can make or break a scene, and with Arcane it absolutely makes the show 10000 times better

Yeah every time i watched some movie or any other and found the music in this or that scene is good/perfect for what it is, i was like "how they made it!!", made me realize if you wanna product something you can't do it half assed, just me respecting more every little detail aspects that makes everything good to the point it's perfect

As someone that was there when Get Jinxed first launched I got enamored with LoL exactly because of the high octane music and animation, the absolute insanity of that video that oozed personality, and every music and animation since then has been if not better than the last brimmed with new potential and dedication.
I just question the certain countries. I thought it was everyone.
Whaaaat?!?! I had no idea Riot also wrote all of the songs?!?! The music for the series is one of the (many) highlights for me. This whole making-of series has been great, but this episode really surprised me.

The investment that Riot made in the production of this show was easily one of the greatest corporate expenditures.
This is by far my favourite part of the bts. Seeing Mako talk about Music and especially about "What could have been" always makes me happy. I always loved Mako, my parents were to countless Sting concerts in their time - this always felt like 2 worlds finally coming together. Been a Sting Fan ever since.
My aunt kinda ridiculed Arcane because it was animated. I asked her if she liked Sting. She said oh she absolutely LOVES String.
And I told her Sting sang the finale song specially JUST for this animated show. And she didn't say anything after that.

After screaming, crying, and yearning for its music since episode 1, I have finally seen it😭... I watched the series while I was the lowest part of my life... It made me invest myself into characters such as Silco and Viktor.
If this was made by a different company, characters like them would be left out and all the resources would be piled up onto the main story ones such as the sisters, Vi and Jinx, and also Jayce...
Subjectively, this was perfect! No... They created the standard quality for this genres of a series and destroyed a generation's norm related to video games becoming a movie/film series.
But what I love is the....

I love classical music and if I was asked to listen to other genres, I would listen to pop, specifically, ALL THE WORLD'S THEME SOUNDTRACK‼️
League music, from ingame, to champion teasers, to events, and onto its themed song releases, is what I have been listening to since Lee Sin had an additional 3 wards from a jungle item he could buy...
Now, I am in college, depression hit hard and failed a major courses, I was trying to find an outlet... Who knew Rise would make me more emotional than how I saw Faker played back then😅
Overall, I love music... Adding Ray Chen and Imagine Dragons in this episode gave me some hype and something to get interested in again...

For me the music really had a huge impact. The final scene and Sting's music is always on my mind, along with woodkid's song and that jinx's scene - if you know you know. They put so much care into making Arcane, I'm really happy that the world received it so well and was able to apreciate every artistic detail that was put into it. I had no idea that Christian was so involved in this tho, he trully deserves much more praise for his work and talented mind
It is fascinating how much talent from EU they have brought in, animation AND orchestra.
Working long-distance with people over such a long period of time can truly be a hassle but it was clearly worth it.
You guys didn't create a show, You created a full on artistic masterpiece.
I hope one day I will be able to help work on this show. It's inspired me beyond the scope of most animated shows.

The final song in season 1 is the most memorable piece of music ever used in a TV show, at least any that I've watched. An absolute crescendo of emotion and energy, these guys are all geniuses.

I've been a long term fan of PVRIS. I'm not really up-to-date with new tv shows and the way I ran into Arcane was through hearing their song (it was just so good that I was like "well why not try the show, even if its just to get to the section they sing for"). I feel like such a proud fan that they were really important for that part of the story, the song definitely feels mostly PVRIS (I really loved the song before I watched arcane, and I like it even more now with the context) and yes I completely agree, Vi and Lynn feel similar LOL

As an art student ( 3D modelling specifically) seeing the softwares and everything come together is so inspirational to me. Just seeing that something that I am starting to learn in school, be applied in such a magnificent way is breathtaking.
I guess this is where your Riot money goes towards, and im okay with that, i would also love to see more about the game side of Riot and how those people work and do things in league , wildrift, tft, Valorant, etc. theres so much happening i dont think Arcane needs to be the only highlight Bridge the rift in our Dev team aswell.
I want to see the balance team and how they deal with the community feedback.

My god I KNEW that the violinist in arcane had to have been modeled after a real person because of how well they were able to translate the passion of playing! @9:03 is what I’m referring to, and also how the character looks similar to the composer is awesome (whether accidental or not)!

Music is like sorcery to me. How people can be so skilled and creative at something I have zero talent with always blows my mind. 😵
I can't express enough admiration for the artists and composers for putting so much thought into the character themes. I absolutely adore Silco's theme, precisely because it's not villainous at all, if anything, it's calm and loving, but it also has deep sadness and sort of feeling of something lurking just beneath the peaceful surface. Just like Silco.

It’s amazing to see all of this bc we all know that Arcane is quite possibly one of the best works of television *of all time* everything abt it is amazing, so of course it was created with so much care and effort and investment cause it could not fail and honestly I wish every show, or every piece of media for that matter, were created like this.

This was the episode for the documentary series that I was really looking forward to. The music of Arcane spans many genres and elevates the scenes in each episode. And the songs are so good and make you feel like they're being played in the setting for real. Like you can think that "Enemy" is being played on the radio in the Undercity.
