For Tenpai, it only turns off SOME of the lines. It only hurts the lines where you NEED to add the Kaimen or a monster off the Summoning. But if you start with Chundra in hand, you have lines that do not need to add from deck to hand.
Unchained was playing this card months ago, and it was a side-deck staple. Not to mention nightmare throne is also about. So free apollousa for unchained
That card sounds soo much better tbh against Tenpai, not even for the droll effect but more for the can't summon from main deck. Granted, it is a continuous spell and not a lingering effect so is easier to out.
1, it's not searchable. 2, unless you activate it at the end of your turn, it locks you as well, which means the opp either knows how to play their hand now or you shut yourself off if they use board breakers on you. 3, not a bad choice if you cant play Droll. Edit: It says "the end of YOUR next turn," so you have to activate it on their turn for max/any affect. Nah man, I think this is just a time waster. It pauses the game for two full turns and turns it back on for the opponent first.

I love this card analysis! Definitely going to try this card out
I ate it in the finals of last week‘s regional 😭
It is not that great if your deck needs searching and if you got HT to death.
Thoughts on Spellbound as a floodgate?
Not good right now
simul archfiends also a good card in the format
I got beat by decklock down the other day with Tenpai
