This game looks really polished.. I love the wonder boy feel... I just love how some developers are making good ol classic games, but with moderne technology and gameplay.. Old games had A LOT of problems, they were fantastic back then. But we can make better old games today. .And that is fantastic!
Looking forward to seeing this game in its totality. Having three characters to use in an exploration game is neat... but not having immediate access to switching them is a nice touch that sets this game apart, even though the characters share health and tools. Also, the mage, Algus. It's fascinating to me that he's essentially the main character of the trio, since he's the one narrating the event... and making the deals with those he honestly shouldn't have, even though said deal makes every death and revival canon, which is another cool detail.

Gives me La Munana (or what that indiana jones game name was) vibes. The environment goes for something darker, so could have done with a bit more a kin to that.. Oh just got further in the vid, it gets darker. If just it had it all the way through.

It’s a demo, so I don’t think it’s going to have a “good” ending but more of a cliffhanger so it keeps the audience interested. That’s just my take though.
Note to the devs: color-coded doors are really unfun. See that Wolfenstein game or the DmC reboot, where you need to attack the blue enemies with blue weapons and red enemies with red weapons. Even though they make little difference mechanically, they make the game feel so much less dry. Kirby games do a decent job of this where, for example, there are little suspended platforms that you can only drop using Sword or Cutter.

This music throws me back to when I was 10, playing Mega drive. Ah the memories...
This one seemed super smooth, probably going to pick it up. It looks like it did the Metroidvania genre right and the animations are juicy.
The animations are very fluid.
That ending has me curious about the sequel now.

Definitely! I actually deliberately died at the boss to show off what happens when you die in the game (because it's a pretty cool feature!) :)
