Parsi was official language during Mughal rule in India. Just like English these days. Hindvi/Urdu was born out from the mix of parsi + local languages. Very interesting culture we had.

That's not true. Afghan IS Pashto. And it's not a derivative of farsi. Pashto and farsi are two different languages distantly related to each other.
