Is Sampeng Market still worth visiting? Chinatown, Bangkok, Thailand

- Some have described Sampeng Market as the cheapest, largest, and best markets in Bangkok. Honestly I don't feel it's any of those, but I do think it's still pretty fun and diverse and worth a visit. If you're trying to go to Bangkok's Chinatown, you should hold off until 7:00 - 8:00 PM. But if you're in the area in the day time, you should stop by Sampeng Market instead. There's plenty of great deals, cheap street food, and friendly thai merchants. And it's massive!!! So it can be a quick visit or a multiple hour exploration.

Thailand's markets are just infinite 😅 and yeah... Chinatown in the evening is a totally different vibe. Super crazy and soo busy! I went there on my first night in Thailand and it was kinda overwhelming lol
