I concede I was stunned by such hubris. Sadhguru must be either an avatar of God, or a very adroit, intelligent and tenacious conguru. Some genuine sages should be asked to tell us which is it. (They are not easy to find them because they live in retreat from the world, not in glamour like our Sadhguru). Not every single thing he says I agree with but most of it sounds reasonable. Just calling him out without elaborating is not very helpful. Could you please offer some examples on which things he said that are misleading?

Further, with certainty and clarity, I know for a fact humanity has one God - Our LORD God Almighty and He is the highest of all existence. Moreover, you cannot exist or have any freedom, without God - Our Creator. This so-called inspiring speech by Sadhguru to a room full of impressionable people, along with all his followers, is truly disturbing, to say the least. Please do not be fooled by any guru who speaks with authority. Since they have no authority whatsoever and no right to make people doubt that God exists or if Our Heavenly Father is the highest power because Our LORD God Almighty is the highest power of all. He is the Alpha and the Omega! Sadhguru, if you do not know if God exists that doesn’t mean others do not. As Our LORD Jesus Christ proclaimed: “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him” (Matthew 11:27). I can personally say with confidence, clarity and truth that I have been drawn to the Father through Jesus by experiencing several encounters in my life. So I pray Sadhguru that you will not project your lack of experience or clarity when it comes to God onto your many followers, who should be in fact following Jesus Christ and no one else. Lastly, the idea of ‘Heaven’ is NOT a crime or a disastrous idea! God’s Heavenly Kingdom is most certainly a real place and it is up to God who goes and when. "Create your own God"- This is the idea i had many years ago as a procurement to freedom. I say, "I am my own God" and for some reason it insults others. "If you were a God what kind of God would you be?" "What would you change about the world?" Most people start indulging themselves or involving/expecting others to change at this point. I respond, "I wouldn't change a single thing, I am a God that represents freedom and I know I am only as free as I allow others, mistakes and all." Calling the idea/belief of Heaven a mistake IS another mistake because if a collective of consciousnesses put their heart and soul into the belief they are right. Another Point of View: While I so very much appreciate the perspective of Sadguru and the philosophy of Hinduism, I think one of the reasons we are all fascinated by his oratory is because it is so antithetic to human experience. Yes, there are exalted states of consciousness, but they require fidelity to both intense inner work and at the very least decent externals. In short, its universal that if someone you love is dying, you're probably going to be in great pain. I'm sure anyone reading this can think of a hundred sufferings that would pop the transcendence bubble. After all we have bodies that bleed, need sleep, food and minds that resist stress. In other words, we are very vulnerable. Isn't it?
He saying if you believe strongly in heaven you will wait until your dead to live , you will live any which way with your focus on no matter what I do here I will wait until heaven arrives after this life . But the power of realising you can create heaven here and now . In heaven there are the angels in their hierarchy, there is music of giving us pure ecstasy. Some of those who had served well many lives on earth and got the privilege to live in heaven eternally free, they chose to continue their great service on earth. Over 60 years ago as a child I realized that Religions taught very little of what the "Saviors" actually taught and many did not live what "Saviors" taught... and teaching "Mankind is sinful" then teach what some humans "Believed" long after the "Saviors" had died seems hypocritical~ the last straw for me was the pictures of the "Heavens"...
