As someone who lives along the Lakeshore West line, I have to say that I really admire the architecture of some of the northern stationhouses. The only other station I've been to that has similar architectural aesthetics was Oakville GO.
I like the mix of old and new, four station buildings (Allandale, Newmarket, Aurora & Maple) along the Barrie Line are federally protected by the Heritage Railway Stations Protection Act. Aurora & Maple historic stations buildings continue to be in use. Thanks for the comment!
