What kind of pliers do you recommend? I just started at captain Andersons marina working charters and I've already been through 2 pairs of pliers. They keep criss crossing. I need a link to a heavy duty pair or directions to a specific store that might sell some haha...please?
Glad for your insights cuz I tried going out in Galveston on my 248 commander in 3-4 foot swells once we left the jetty. Had to turn around cuz my mom and dad was getting sea sick. I'm pretty sure your catamaran handled it better than my deep V for sure.
Cool Video. We will probably book thru yall next summer when we get back down to Fort Morgan or DI. What was the smallest and biggest snapper yall kept that day?
It’s a pain to do, but I’ll just drag in , say, my 3rd person camera video into my project then drag in the camera I used with an external mic under that 3rd person view and sync them up manually. I’ll then mute the 3rd person camera audio. Hope this helps. Im using Final Cut Pro also but it should be the same
Cool video. As someone who is thinking about getting there six-pack license I wanted to ask. What’s the pay like for a deckhand position, and do you think it’s worth the time and effort working towards that goal?
Thanks dude. The pay can vary depending on so many factors but generally your not gonna make a ton just deckhanding alone. I do however think it’s a good idea to get the experience and eventually get your 6pack captains license.
Capt. Collier, what is the name of your charter buddy? I called them back in March before they took delivery on their Costa Custom but forgot the name and the video that you listed them. I have deposit on a Costa Custom and wanted to maybe charter some time on his boat to decide if I want to stay with the Costa or go bigger. Great content!!
Their website link is in my description below the video. Gettightoffshore is the charter name. I don't think Capt.Boe has that boat licensed to charter but it is sitting next to the freeman that we do take out for trips. Thanks for watching!
Such a great video. Most people never see what the deckhands doing because they are so focused on fishing. Well done Capt.
Thankya sir. Obviously I didn’t show everything but you are right, it’s a lot more than most people would think!
Nice work 👏 👌 👍 💪 🙌. Love the way you took this video. Thanks again for the awesome work. God Bless and stay safe 🙏
Great video Captain! Y’all caught some Slugs despite the conditions. Show us another offshore video from the bay boat!
Thankya sir. Offshore fishing has been tough for the closer in spots, I’ve been waiting for it to pick back up but definitely will!
Capt Collier with that next level gaff work . Awesome job Cap 😎😎
I’ve gaffed a few fish in my lifetime 😃thankya

Sounds great. We’ll be looking forward to it. Biggest was about 20lbs smallest was prolly 4lbs.
Nice trip!
Lol, love the intro
😂
Deck hands earn every penny and deserve a good tip after all is said and done.
100%!
How are you syncing your audio with multiple cameras. I got premier pro and for the life of me I can’t figure it out

And my charter is just called Captain Collier’s Charters. It’s on the Fishing Chaos App . Inshore and nearshore only though
I want to book a trip with Capt Eli . I looked in my fishing chaos app couldn’t find him. What’s his charter.
He does not charter.
Who is a good Charter there . I need one for April.
For five .
People just don’t know the work you put in when deck handing. It is fun but hard work.
So true. I didn’t even show the half of it, but it is a fun “job”
how deep were yall?
120ft
We fished in the bayou today was not fun running from the storms
I bet not, I’m ready for fall fishing already
@@CaptCollier same here buddy
That's the hardest job on the boat
Other than than the Captain finding the fish I agree
The ole Sea Hunt looks good with a bald captain... Just sayin
I guess. Looks even better with a mullet Capt though
Action was hot good times putting some big ones in the boat
Yessir!
