Heritage home moves from Victoria to Royston

ROYSTON - A Comox Valley family pulled off one the biggest moves in the history of Vancouver Island.
The family hired Nickel Brothers, a house moving company, to move a two-story, heritage home in Victoria to the small seaside town of Royston.
The journey took three days with the house traveling more than 200 KM up island. The house was loaded on a barge in Victoria and moved up island where it was unloaded just a block away from its final destination.
The entire move was filmed by a British documentary crew and will appear in an upcoming episode of Massive Moves.
