I was telling my hubby that out of ALL the contestants, Tessanne was the only one that I could see that would THANK the man at the bottom of the stairs that would take the mikes...... This might seem like a small thing, but it showed just how nice she is. Her singing brought me to tears..... Absolutely beautiful!!! Tessanne....we love you in the STATES. : )
Yes Yes Yes! True, she is such an AMAZING and COMPLETE singer. BUT ALSO - she has what seems like a genuine deep sense of grace and humility which also shines through in her singing. So down to earth and genuine. I was also struck (but not surprised) how on one of the Team Adam get-togethers she was constantly complimenting and encouraging the other competitors. Geez, I've never gushed about a contestant as I have for Tessanne over the last few weeks, ha ha. She really is a special talent, and seems like a really special person too. Cheers.
In one interview with a Jamaican reporter after the finale, she was asked who she wanted to thank. She thanked Adam, the band, producers, etc etc, and then yes, she took the time to thank all the staff(-s) and also even the folks who drive the contestants around for the show. It's all real. She's all real.
Loved her on the voice, a great ambassador for Jamaica, hoping she goes all the way. Big up tessanne.

No, he means since the first audition show. There was a break after the auditions (and before the competition started). She went home to Jamaica and did this interview. However, I just saw her on Kathy Lee and Hoda Show earlier today. She said that now that the competition is over she's taking a break before she starts recording her new CD and going home to Jamaica for a week of rest. I'm so happy and proud for her and for Jamaica. She represents everything that is good in Jamaica.

Tessane, I understand what you said about not doing your own music because you want to explore different genres on the Voice, but I think your music is already quite cross-genre. For example, Hideaway would be a great song for later on in the contest. It has the lover's rock element, the DJ section, and the rock section at the end. It would be awesome and surprising while still being somewhat relateable.

I dont recall hearing Simon asking her about the criteria for entering the competition. Wouldnt it appear odd that she start to talk about green card and citizenship when it is not relevant to the discussion at hand? If anything, I think all she needed to enter was her voice and authorization to work in the US.

honestly that old dinasour needs to retire....his interview skills are as fresh as my grandmas diaper....he does tessanne no favor by interviewing her...she is so classy and wouldn't disrespect anyone but he is a joke and I couldn't even watch the full interview cause I was embarrassed for her.....tesanne you have arrived and earned your spot not only in Jamaica but internationally as well...God bless you.

Tessanne why you never talk straight when Simon ask you what the process is? Instead of telling us about obvious auditions you should have cleared up the citizenship issue whether or not you had to be an American citizen or green card holder. Full disclosure Tessy
