I usually spend my time on here watching stupid videos. One day a long time ago I got a recommendation for an Islamic video, and ever since I've been binge watching them. I'm trying so hard to strengthen my imaan, and I can't tell you how much better I feel in general! Subhanallah, I even feel closer to Allah (SWT) when I pray. Usually I hear stories about Islam and the prophets at my Sunday School, but they had just become an every day thing, and I never took them seriously (as most teenagers). But now I feel like more of a Muslim that I have ever, and I hope that whoever reads this comment realizes one thing --- no matter how lost or ignorant you are, you can become better if you try. I'm not the best Muslim in the world, but I try hard to make up for the years of ignorance. That's all I wanted to say.

Adrian Farhan no offence but that's what we all say " I want to be rich so that I could help the poor" everybody says that but one day when you do become rich, you'll be so obsessed with wealth and the shaytaan will do his best to lure in and before you know it, you'll fall in love with money and forget about Allah swt who gave it to you in the first place. Having too much money can have a negative impact on the soul.

Allah (SWT) won't make him rich unless he knows the right way to utilize it if he is a true believer. Allah (SWT) will make him go through different trials to make him learn how to deal with excess money or there may be another case. Just my thoughts

My Family and I were just talking about this topic over the dinner table and this shows up soon after. SubhanAllah needed to hear this.
Today we run behind success..But success calls us 5 times a day.
Am still a student .... and am working day and night for long hours... i am doing every sacrifice because one day i want to become a great woman, with lots of money, not to show off but to help poor people all over the world...i have already promise that if in case that happened, i will donate my money to the poor because i pity them.

Angel Hib i think you misinterpreted the meaning, please dont work day and night, you are a woman. Im female too, I studied and worked too but now i see that this is totally wrong and we only think its right because of the western feminists. When women work and study they dont need men anymore and this is bad because it leads to divorces very quick. Feminism is a trick of satan.

Most of the dwellers of Paradise will be poor people and most of inhabitants of hell rich and arrogant .Wealth is a big test and lots of people will fail this test so its not for everybody .Truly wealthy person is the one who content with what he has.

No offence brother I think you not very knowledable about Islamic teaching and you only choose to pick verses and hadith that suit your agenda. The fact is if Islam was in your hand we would still be living in caves. You need to wake up. Don't you know there where prophets who were kings. Wealth does not come just by sat on your ass and saying if it is written for me it will come. Indeed you don't understand the concept of twaqual in Allah.

Why can't the Almighty simply give you mercy?
The Almighty will NEVER violate
one part of His nature--His Perfect Justice,
simply to hand out mercy.
*Perfect* Justice demands punishment for all your sins;
otherwise, it is INJUSTICE.
Even your most sincere repentance and good deeds,
though necessary, are STILL utterly imperfect before His
*Perfect* Justice , Holiness and Purity.
This is why the Almighty *Himself*
could only provide the *perfect payment*
your sin demands-so you can get mercy
and *He remains Perfectly Just*.
Repent of trusting in the teachings of Islam-
you can never do enough good deeds to get mercy for even one sin.
Begin trusting that Jesus obediently,
and to prove His great love for you,
willingly took the punishment your sins deserved on His cross,
making the only payment for your sins *perfect enough*
the Almighty Father in Heaven CAN accept.

It's all bout taking responsibility for yourself, and ur family. having money makes life easy.....u can take good care of yourself, and your children. money provides everything, it really does. you can buy quran, books for ur kids to read. money is everything try to understand that. everything, just a part. and being rich doesn't mean u don't have your struggles. being rich with money means u have the tools do more good deeds or to do more wastage. being rich with money, does it entitle u with big houses, air conditioned rooms, fancy cars, clothing? can one that is rich with money leads a simple life?

One of The most amazing lecture ever given. This issue needs to be addressed in the muslim world. The children need to be trained strive and struggle to gain the duniya in hand and hereafter in heart. And be hard working.....the times ahead are not going to favor the muslims...muslims must strength themselves and their community.

Amr ibn Awf reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “By Allah, it is not poverty I fear for you, but rather I fear you will be given the wealth of the world just as it was given to those before you. You will compete for it just as they competed for it and it will destroy you just as it destroyed them.”
Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 2988, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2961.
I.e. Wealth can corrupt people and not everyone can handle it.

There's some ancillary info the Shaykh would do well to share with us. That is, the *balancing* of Fear & Respect. Fear & Hope. Fear of God (& the promises to us of what we will earn if we disrespect our Great Creator), &/or fear of losing something God wants us to lose in order for us to gain something better & more Beautiful. And, God & The Last Prophet Know Best.
