ah the nostalgia of picking a Merc as my first life and going to the tavern and just hearing this song explode out of nowhere from the calm music outside to this wacky and insane tune was just the greatest thing ever for me in this game and that's probably why this is still my favorite track from this game lol
Oh so many good memories!! I'll always remember becoming a chef for the first time and walking into Alfredo's kitchen and hearing this as I learned dishes from such humble beginnings to then mastering dishes and rapidly developing seasonings and special combos to make the ultimate dishes from around the world. And getting to fight monsters for specific ingredients. This game will always hold a special place in my heart since it was one of my favorites as a little kid. I think because it had such a strong sense of reward. Proving that your character has become stronger and better throughout the game is so fun! I still pray that eventually we'll get a proper sequel to this masterpiece of an RPG game.

The tavern was my favorite place to chill honestly, I loved seeing all the characters there and also the theme reminds me of a bunch of men drunk as shit singing some song about wanting to save a fair maiden from a dragon and taking her home.
Everytime I hear this song, I think of a happy bar where everyone sings will raising their beer, everyone is laughing, some are playing cards or something and some other are just fist fighting in a corner.
I started as a mercenary but when I finished the game (god in all lives) I realized that archer (or hunter idk) is better because you have invulnerability frames.

Dragon Quest was made by Square, Fantasy Life was made by Level 5. Dragon Age would not have this song, as Fantasy Life is a more childish game, while Dragon Age is more serious.
