If you just solder the white and black wire together at some point in the middle of the wire, it'll resolve the issue. The only consequence is you'll be able to turn it on and drive it with the power cord still in it. There's a switch mechanism in the charging port that cuts continuity on one of the wires to the ground of the circuit, and the switch gets broken from multiple in and outs of the power plug. Soldering the two together bypasses the switch in the plug.
I had the 1 blink issue. Nothing would work. I soldered the white and black wires together and now, I have a solid red light. The problem is, now the cart will only work while plugged in.. If I unplug it, I get nothing. Any tips?
Thank you, this comment saved me! @@aaronhall1286you can get an adapter for any 18v power tool battery to red/black wire, and use that instead of the stock batteries. You'll have to get creative with mounting it for easy access

Got a used one with dead batteries. I replaced the batteries and it is running fine. Just need a new charger. Do you know the size of the original charging barrel plug? I will get a generic 24V charger, just need to know what plug size.

Cut the white wire on the back of charging port solder it online with the black wire. Your good to go

Called up radio flyer and they sent me a new one. Our kart was actually under warranty so it cost me nothing.
