Azure Monitor Logs Log Types

  • A look at the types of logs available in a Log Analytics Workspace.
    Note: Something I forgot to stress is the fact that is search job you run it with limited KQL statement that fetch only the relevant records and ingest only those, vs. Restore that brings the whole data of the selected time window.

    Excellently presented as always. Finally an option that can solve the cost problem for those who do not need advanced KQL queries or configure alerts.
    We are already seeing significant savings.

    thanks for the great video! I noticed that the interactive retention period of basic logs have been updated from 8 to 30 days. This may need an update.
