Will The Redfish Be In Shallow When It's Cold

- Water temps can vary based on the area that you're fishing. The readings we get on water temps can also vary based on the exact location of the tide buoys in relation to where and how shallow you are fishing. The tide buoy read 61 but I guarantee it was in the 50's in 5 inches of water. Anything below 60 degrees is considered cold for us in South Texas. The redfish can handle some harsh conditions but sometimes they go into the deeper channels or creeks when it's cold. I guess it wasn't too cold today because I found several reds in 5 inches of water. Sometimes you just have to try and see. Tight lines yall

What length leader are you using. Is it set to mid water depth?
