My son hated reading until he discovered these books. Now he's reading many other books and still re-reads these for fun sometimes. I'm so grateful for these books. I've been a fan of Jeff's sense of humor since college with his Igdoof comic strip.

Now that I'm in university as a philosophy major who has read Thomas Pynchon, James Joyce, Shakespeare, and an innumerable amount of complicated philosophy books, I'm still fascinated by how captivating these books were when I was kid. It's rare that I find books so addicting and engaging. Kinney is a Children's book wizard!

I read DOAWK first at age 9 and now I'm 22 and still love it, I stopped counting how many times I've read each book 😍
I used to be much like Greg in my schooldays, pretty wimpy, unpopular, lazy, not so good at school. Plus I had two nasty brothers and my mom was also a lot like Greg's.
I can relate to soooooo many scenes it's crazy
