In September 1996, they came to Columbia, SC on the Reunion Tour. They opened up with this from their very first LP. When those lights when down, the audience went nuts. And when the opening bars to this classic began and they dropped the curtain, it was something that just couldn't be described. I doubt that there was a dry eye there, including mine.
out of the 18 deuce versions i veiwed this one has the best crowd apprecation and best solo tommy did so far. and best drumming and i wrote this before it even got to the end when paul said same basiclly..good camera work this crowd wanted the best and got the best......off to next deuce to review
Tommy Thayer is the solo guitarist that replaced Ace Frehley in 2002 or something like that, atleast Ace did his last consert with kiss 24th february, 2002.
Best lineup of Kiss yet, Ace and Peter may have laid the groundwork for Kiss but they got to sloppy and out of tune. Kiss needed to change their lineup again in order to stay in top form.
This "version" of KISS is there for the newbies. Any self respecting long time fan should find this current incarnation revolting. They need to take the make up off of those two(albeit very talented) impostors. This ain't KISS folks. Gene and Paul both know it,but then again they also know alot of people are suckers.
thing is, peter criss and ace frehley arent in kiss for a reason (drugs, alcohol etc) and personally i think eric is a much better drummer than peter. better to have eric and tommy than no kiss.
Ora - an opening or entrance to a passage. i.e. Your life as a hole. Get it? sorry, bad joke, I admit. As for Aura's, I'm not into that psycho babble bullshit. And how'd you know I was a chief? You must'a seen me showing with my war bonnet on....
Can ya picture Kiss playing Pink Floyd .. The wall? .They can't .. Why? they don't know the chords to it . You got all kinds of RnR bands playing some kind of song . Like metallica playing Whiskey in a Jar with no problems at all. What would really impress me is if Kiss would play Enter Sandman . Can't do it, because they don't know the chords . Anything above G , A and C is just too much . Detroit rock city is full of em . He!! my son can play that without a glitch. War Machine .. Get real , that's the worse of em all . Can't play a chord and damn sure can't write a song..
