this fucking rules, thank you SO much!!!!!!!!!! i just got a blackberry torch for word processing/pocket writing machine and was trying to figure out how to install extra apps. it really sucks these devices can't be jailbroke to get a different OS in them. YOU'RE A LIFE SAVER

As of now, phone calls and texts (SMS only) work. And they will only work outside of the United States. Email has been unavailable but I’m sure with some clever minds, we will have working email again soon. Gmail reportedly works on some devices on browser but I was unsuccessful in doing so. Good luck!

for some reason my blackberry bold touch is saying that it’s Motorola phone and telling me to download Opera Mini 4.5 but when i do that and open Opera 4.5 it says it’s not connected to the internet.
Please help, I have the same exact phone, I can connect to the internet perfectly fine but i cant use the browser or anything, says I got no internet. Please help!

@@Olegatorslife this video is focused more towards more “retro” side of blackberry, as I am very inexperienced with newer ones. I would say try giving Reddit a shot and see if you can get some help there! I wish I could help out with this but it’s simply out of my expertise.

It's sad to say, everytime i'm turn on the wifi, my Blackberry will shutdown for no reason, it's always happen on me, so i can't use wifi or even internet data 😢

i put a boost mobile sim card in mine and it works for calls + texts. i can also go on opera on the data. i live in new york

I used a hotspot from my main phone to connect to to the blackberry. A lot of new routers will not be able to connect to these old devices
