Thanks for helping make my choice! A small hint if installed in a wet bath! You always place a plastic garbage bag over the toilet prior to showering!
Thanks again!✌️
We love our airhead!!!
I don’t own a van but this was a great video :) Thanks Chris
Thanks Chris and Kiri for info packed video! It made me want to buy one and I don't have a van! If the toilet is placed in the shower, do you have a splash-proof TP holder?
We just keep the TP in the cupboard :) Definitely buy a van!
How's it been going now you've had it a while? Easier to clean? Does the solids chamber last about the same amount of time? Any issues with bugs?
Good questions! Been good so far. So the bowl is a smoother, sleeker plastic so much easier to clean, nature's head is almost a bit porous. So cleaning wise Airhead is much better. Solids compartment I'd say is a little smaller but not hugely and liquids is about the same, maybe bigger. Liquids definitely easier to remove with airhead tho. Bugs are fine, the airhead comes with very good bug mesh for inlet and outlet sides. I think the airflow was a little more efficient in the nature's head but it was also very prone to blocking because it was right in the waste chamber. I've built in an inline fan as well for this airhead and now it's super good. Overall very happy with the Airhead. I still think I'd like to see a new toilet though with a combination of both features. Thanks for following us and sparking great questions :)
@ingandWilderness Hey there! Hope you are doing well. Just seeing this video. Like your style! Quick Q: You say you'd like to see a new toilet with a combination of both features. What features would you like to see combined? What things do you miss on your current airhead that would make it even better?
From reading the comments and watching your video it seems like the airhead is outperforming the nature's head on pretty much all elements except airflow, which you've solved, but from your comment it seems like there is more to it than shared so far:). Was curious to what you'd like to see improved/combined!
Have a great day!
I would be interested in knowing where you bought your Airhead toilet. From the Aus distributor, a Natures head is A$1590. The Airhead is A$2381, as quoted today, with a 19 week lead time.
The New Zealand distributor. Enviromarine.org.
$1850 shipped. Came here in peak covid in about 8 days. Really nice service too.
@@WanderingandWilderness is that NZ$?
@@carladalton6220 Nope, that's AUD
