✨ ABOUT ME
My name is Duncan and I am a Maths Graduate in Scotland with a passion for maths and relaxation! I am an ASMR TH-camr and plan to go on to teach maths at high school level in the coming years. I am very enthusiastic about teaching and to help me improve and get practice before entering the world of work I have created this channel to help people learn about mathematics at all levels all whilst having a good night's sleep.

Literally have a maths test in a few days, this couldn’t have come at a better time! :)
Good luck in the test! I’m sure you’ll do great 😊
Same
I noticed a mistake at 16:56. You forgot the power of 4 in the denominator.
That's OK humans are not robots they make mistakes
@@bradley5804 he's just pointing it out
7:26 actually the symbol for integration is the letter s for sum, because integration is a continuous sum from a to b
Hey Dido, as an Algebra ll student, it would be cool to see a video on logarithms and exponential functions 🙌 Keep up the great videos!
Oh I’ve been waiting for another upload. Your whisper is so relaxing and the videos are actually very helpful. Thank you and keep it up🤍
Thank you!
Oh my God I actually requested this a while back! Thank you so much. Let’s see if I finally understand it! I love that you teach us in ASMR because it makes me relaxed instead of anxious which is how Math always makes me feel 😅 love you Dido ❤
Loved this video! Everything was explained in a clear and simple way, and it was also super relaxing. I took calculus last semester and I have to take differential equations next one but I kinda forgot everything 🥲 this was perfect for a memory refresh, thank you so much! ❣️
This was very fascinating to me and I want to thank you for being such a great teacher!
I always heard that the Integral symbol was actually an S denoting the sum as the limit of the Riemanns Sum approaches 0
When i am bored i find 10-15 integrals and do them for fun 😂
Literally me, u-sub is pretty fun (unless you have t² or √t then it's pretty hard)
Here's an integral for you (written out in text just because): integral that goes from 2 to e of 2t dt
Have fun bud
This is an amazing channel, thank you dido
Now we want the same video but with limits and differentiation
I have my a level end of years in literally two weeks, they determine whether i can apply to good unis or not. im really stressed for maths so this video is perfect!!
I am so bad at maths LOL. If I took a test after this video to determine what I'd actually learnt - it would be that wrt means with respect to.
amazing video as always dido
I’m taking calculus next year, so this will be a great way to get some early learning. Thank Dido👍
Enjoy calculus! It’s a great area of maths 😁
same!
integration is one of the best parts of mathematical analysis! i love it very much so i‘m really looking forward to this video, thank you🤩
Let's goooooo I love integration
Do a video on functions aswell please
hey dido could you do a video on histograms or algebraic fractions? these help me so much for revising
man you are doing great job
j'adorerais faire une licence de maths, l'économie et le droit c'est juste de la culture générale alors que les sciences et les maths servent réellement à quelque chose
hey can you do a video on highschool level probability? My teacher last year didn’t explain it well enough and it’s gonna be a pain this year. Great video btw 👍
Can you pleaseeee do some calculus 2 videos?! That would be AMAZING
Can you do the Euclid contest from the university of Waterloo? I'm gonna take the next one (12th grade level)
Came here to learn math, ended up falling asleep
if only the questions on the exam were this easy :(
Can you do some like GCSE revision video? Foundation level / higher
As a calculus student, the only thing he got wrong is how to write an x. I just get caught off guard every single time. 😂
Ty for vid
OMG ITS DIDO
omd its dido!
How do you intergrate natural log?
Can you try to solve turkish university exam questions? It’s called TYT-AYT
Do you know Ap statistics I’ve been struggling and ap test are coming up and was wondering if you could do a review video if you did know
It
how is the parabola upside down if the coefficient of x^2 is positive (1) ?
Can someone explain how dido got “4x - “. At 46:26. I understand the X^3/3. Just not the “4x -“
he's integrating 4 which can be written as 4x^0. Increase the power by 1 to get 4x^1 and divide by this power which stays the same at 4x^1=4x. The minus is there because he is integrating -x^2, not x^2. Hope that helps 😁
@@aaronlad7697 great. Thank you🙏
A small mistake with exercise 2, x in the final answer should be powered to the power of 4 since x**(-4)=1/x**(4)
Software?
At 16:57 wouldn’t this be 1/4x^4 instead of just 1/4x?
Yea i think he just forgot
Please more Alevels topics
Dido are you good at physics and chemistry too?
I would say I’m relatively okay with physics! I took it to the Scottish level called Advanced Higher 📝
I just don't get the integrating sin and cos
I find it interesting that British people call mathematics maths instead of just math. I guess it's just a regional thing.
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
17:06 x^4 not x wtf???
