I see it's ur first time hearing her😁. She's actually known for her belting. Her range is unbelievable even up to now. A lot of singers in the PH look up to her. She's a legend.
😧😦Her voice is amazing!! Wow! Like I said before, the Phillipines is a land full of talented people 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️. Her voice is so sweet and tender, and her high notes are on point, also her voice is really harmonic and her vibrato was wonderful. ❤️💕👌🏻 Regarding her Spanish, I couldn't understand much, just a couple of words, so I cannot evaluate her in that part😂🤣😊
Spanish was a required subject until 1990s when it was removed in the college curriculum .... Regine belongs to the generation that Spanish was still taught in high school and college.... everyday conversation uses about 20 to 25% spanish words which is mixed in Tagalog or other local languages in PH... funny many filipinos were not aware that many every words has spanish origin until they take spanish language in school... but english influence is fast becoming the dominant now ...
I could say Filipinos could adopt to spanish accent very easily and naturally. well since a lot of our words are in spanish, a big chunk of Filipino accent are also so similar to that. so no wonder why Regine could sing spanish song so naturally, like it's her first language hahahaha
FYI. Philippines was colonist by the Spaniards for 300 years that's why some of our language sounds like and in Spanish. I thought Regine just learn that Spanish translated song that day only coz that was her original single title in Tagalog (Pilipino native language)

Regine Velasquez is the Asia’s Songbird, She’s almost 51 now, She’s the Philippine Best Selling Artist of All Time and The Queen of Philippine Music Industry, She’s the Divas of all divas here in PH, hope you react her more♥️
The Philippines was under Spanish rule for 3+ centuries 1521 to1898. Spanish influence, from food, language to our music, is in our culture. One goes to the old Chinese restaurants the menu is in 3 languages Engles, Chinese, and Espanol. Our music form Kundiman is rich in hispanic undertones both in melody and structure. My generation loved Sergio Mendez Astrud Gilberto Andres Segovia and Carlos Santana. De todos modos ese from all of us here in the Philippines enviamos nuestro amor be Safe Stay Healthy Daghang Salamat Mabuhay kayo
She's the Asia's Songbird. She influenced and inspired many singers of today including Morissette Amon and Katrina Velarde. I think the reason why she sounds really good in Spanish is because our language, the Filipino language, have many words that are similar;that were derived from Spanish, because we also became a colony of Spain. We have Ñ in our Alphabet and our surnames are mostly Spanish surnames. You should react to her performance of Paraisong Parisukat wearing a black attire,on SOP. Thanks!
Most of the vowel and consonant sounds that we speak, use, and pronounce today in our languages and dialects here in the Philippines are mostly from Spanish, so we can also pronounce our letter ''r'' or ''rr'' either as a tap r sound or a a thrill r sound aka the rolled r sound, and not just like the English, especially the American English, pronunciation of the letter ''r'' that we adopted and learned in pre-modern to modern times. I mean, our vowels are just basically five vowels now or at present, and even though their names are indigenized or localized from the English Alphabet (i.e. Ey, I, Ay, O/Ow, Yu) but their sounds are always like in Spanish's five vowel sounds of the Spanish Alphabet, nothing more and nothing less, basically.
she is the queen of Philippines music industry that's her signature beautiful ethereal soft tone like a songbird mermaid hybrid and then she belts like a powerful bakunawa ala mythical sea dragon goddess.
Woah, it's interesting how in the Spanish version at 6:40 it says "give me eternity", while in the Filipino version it says "Eternity is not enough...(for me to love you) ".
I remember like 3 or 4 years ago you also reacted in this vid and you guys said it's not Spanish at all, lol and now it's like things have shifted, love you guys anyway...
Tu - you - ikaw. In philippines it’s always played in wedding. Such a wonderful background music while the bride walks in the aisle going to the altar 🥰🥰🥰
I guess we Filipinos can easily pronounce, study, learn, speak, or write Spanish, is because of our shared colonial past with other Latin American and other Hispanic and Hispanophone countries and places around the world, being colonized for 300 to 333 years under the rule of Spain and also via Mexico, Spanish was our sole and only official language for some centuries ago and it was still one of our official languages even alongside English and Tagalog/Pilipino/Filipino during the later years, and because most of our languages contains, borrowed, or loaned some few to a lot of words and phrases from Spanish, or were derived from, developed from, evolved from, or came from some few to a lot of Spanish words and phrases.
Shes our Queen! She sings Spanish just like Julie Anne San Jose. Speaking of Julie Anne San Jose, pls react to hear latest single FREE. Music Video is out
Hey Sol & Luna, whoever commented asking you to always speak in English is truly rude. I enjoy every video you post & you never fail to put translation subtitle if needed. Don’t mind that comment. We love you. More power to both of you. Cheers 😃
She is rhyming it in original version while singing it in spanish version. I think its hard to pronounce it. while singing it in another language. If you pronounce it clearly it will change the rhymm. This song is not just a song. we always hear this song in the church where couples take their vows. Because this song is dedicated to your half. But she nailed the song in tagalog and spanish. I really apreciate your comment because spanish is not our mother language. But even if regine pronounce it wrong in 1st sentence i still feel her. Because i love the way she sing ❤️❤️❤️
I was silently laughing when you said "notas" coz in Filipino language/conversations, there's a sexual connotation with that word. It used to be a word coined by gays before but then it got mainstream and now it seems Filipinos understand the connotation of the word "nota" especially when you just want to avoid mentioning the male organ. Hahaha
Pronunciation-wise, I prefer Marcelito Pomoy's version. For someone who doesn't speak Spanish, he NAILED the song! He sounded native. Erratum: just finished listening to them both now. And they both had pronunciation issues here and there. All in all, both were okay.
You should invest on a unit with good audio, ...other vloggers (some latinos) have it, so they'd heard this song clearly and had good reviews on this...just sayin'
You will never understand cuz the quality of the Video and Sound is so poor but IF YOU REMASTERED IT hahaahah BE READY CUZ ALL OF THE HAIR IN YOUR BODY WILL STAND BECAUSE OF GOOSEBUMPS
I understood during editing because I was wearing the headphones. So the low quality of the video and room ambient sound didn't help. Now that I think about it, I should have add a disclaimer somewhere in the video but it's fine because now we have this interaction 😆
First time I heard her sing this song. I don't think it suits her. Regina is one of the legends in Philippines but I don't think this suits her.. at least I'm not used to her singing like that anyway.. and the quality of the video.. seems off..
Filipino languages were very much influenced by the Spanish language that our pronounciation of Spanish would somehow seem natural. Also because some of our parents and grandparents still speak the Spanish. It is actually an advantage especially for me being a Filipino when learning Spanish because I didn't have much problem in pronounciation while my American friends would be like "The Spanish r is so hard!". I'm not sure if that is ONLY an influence from Spanish but if we did really have that similar sound before they came, they might have enhanced it in some way.

Ahh. This is a typical song for weddings here in the Philippines.
I could say Filipinos could adopt to spanish accent very easily and naturally. well since a lot of our words are in spanish, a big chunk of Filipino accent are also so similar to that. so no wonder why Regine could sing spanish song so naturally, like it's her first language hahahaha
