We loved coming to Appledore, it was like coming home. The locals we got to know, at Johns, and in the silver band that play on Monday evening on the quay. Watching the gigg teams going out to train. Watching the marines out on landing manoeuvres on the beach at Instow. Just feel sorry for the young Devonians who can’t afford a home in Appledore because of every seaboard cottage on Irsha Street being let to us holiday makers. Appledore will always be my idea of heaven.
I really enjoy these videos. But what's your secret about organising blue skies? More often than not my attempts at landscape etc involves grey clouds.

I absolutely love this little village. Me and my family come every summer. So many great evenings in the Beaver Inn and the champ. Two fab pubs.
