Hi! I'm planning to go on October. Is there many restrictions on the boats because of Covid? I heard they're not doing some of the activities and also some limitations on the menu? I'd appreciate if you could give some feedback. Thanks
People of all ages can enjoy it. It will vary on the boat you get on. You don’t have to dance or participate in everything. Usually the boats with Mexicans get more active because the music is more traditional and people like treating iit more like a party. Boats are separated by language, so you will most likely be with other tourist.
Take them.. THEY WILL LOVE IT! But BEWARE. Its Extremely hard not to get caught up with the Excitement and get ABSOLUTELY DRUNK!... Lol.. It really is fun but If I went again, I would have to remember to slow down with the Tequila shots!
It is south of Cancun but close enough to be considered Cancun. It is where the Riviera Maya also starts, so there is no exact address. It is accessible to both though.
We would not say it is gourmet but rather a mix of Mexican street food and sample of Mexican favorites. For example the dessert is Mexican candies you find in many corner stores. It is fun and will give you a more authentic look at pop culture in Mexico.
You can book this for one person or go with friends. The boats hold about 20 people. They try to put people on boats with the same language groups. Of course if you go with friends it is more fun. If you go with 2 or 4 people you will likely be on a boat with 8 other people.
Some do consider this to be cheesy. But even some true Mexicans love this because it has nostalgia for some of pop culture Mexico and the real Xochimilco in Mexico City.
Was there Wednesday night and it was awesome. The food, entertainment and boats were great. The host really gets the party started too. It did get a little rowdy at times but overall would do it again. Just remember to apply to the mosquito repellent and to use the bathroom when they tell you too. The tequila and Corona beer flows freely there, literally. All you can drink. The two guys sitting next to me killed two bottles of tequila.
I’m Mexican and I went in June 2021 worth every penny! I had the time of my life and the food was 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼🔥

All the negative comments are from Peruvians who want to scare tourists from going to Mexico and visit Peru instead LOL.

What about kids?? ...
is this in Cancun? or riviera Maya?

Es Cerca de la Ciudad de México ❤
@@alejandranallely6707 Al parecer ellos también hicieron un xochimilco en Cancún 🤣😂
Is the food good?
We would not say it is gourmet but rather a mix of Mexican street food and sample of Mexican favorites. For example the dessert is Mexican candies you find in many corner stores. It is fun and will give you a more authentic look at pop culture in Mexico.
Are kids allowed on the boats?
Yes children can go. When you arrive they try to line you up with other families.
Do you have to go in a group? Or they put you in a boat with different people?
You can book this for one person or go with friends. The boats hold about 20 people. They try to put people on boats with the same language groups. Of course if you go with friends it is more fun. If you go with 2 or 4 people you will likely be on a boat with 8 other people.

Hi
Where r the toilets
There is a midway stopping point with bathrooms and if you really need to go during the trip, they have small bathrooms along the route.
There are any wc? 😂🙈
There is a halfway point where people get off the boats and can use the bathroom. There are also emergency options when you are on the boat.
Looks like the worlds cheesiest tourist trap.

Don't ever go then, they wont care believe me lol
It was simply amazing
