Editors really needs to stop playing the background music so loudly it interferes with the ability to comprehend the speaker! Why do they do this!
I’m with you. One notices it as a consumer of many documentaries: the music track volume gets out of hand. With docs we license, we are trying to address this particular issue by communicating with the postproduction houses and sound mixers in particular. It’s not gonna happen overnight but we’re trying.

The engineerinmg is a marvel, the end result is a joke.
I admire the engineering and construction that went into building this but despise the frivolous pissing away of both talent and money solely for yet another playground for the super-rich.

As a certified diver for 30 years there is nothing safe about diving if you don't know what ur doing and even then it can still be dangerous especially below 60ft let alone 150ft

They should have ran breathable air hoses, with changeable mouth pieces, at variable lengths of the diving well, for free divers. Wow!
It is strange how the Poland facility's specification wasn't properly realised until midway through this project...I bet the project scope was "Make it deep", relative too...? The Mariana trench...?

It's very much a metaphor for the entire city; a huge hole filled with money, too deep to see the bottom and too rich (for now) to care.

We can build almost anything the architects can imagine,
but let us pause for a moment to think of the people who make it all possible,
the ordinary worker who has to do his job in such harsh conditions.
I guess for a project like this you have to do some prayers for some workers.

So how do they exchange the water ,to refresh or to clean it
Naturally it would constantly be recirculated with pumps and filters...the electricity needed to do that though would be through the roof. I would have liked them to go into that part of it.

Well at least 700 workers got a job out of it (though vastly underpaid). I agree with a viewer below. Dubai is just a playground for the mega wealthy. They can't even build with their own SAND and it's imported from the UK. It's hard to fathom that they have enough water to build this in a desert when so many (like in Africa) go without. Why don't y'all build a giant water tank for THEM instead of "virtual signal" to the rest of us?
Their sewer system is just a giant cesspool leach field….
The more oil sold, the more they can afford things such as this.
And no one visit this deep dive Dubai
Such a waste of time, money and resources.
