It is PVC insulated copper wire only. I used same wire taken from the inductor coil in the old CFL bulb. You can use single core copper wire with PVC insulation of 24 AWG wire gauge. This has a conductor size of 0.4mm and PVC insulation thickness of 0.35mm.

That is also possible. You have to increase the number of turns in the secondary coil accordinly.
