Try quobba fins for low liter boards as training wheels for balance. They're also good in really stormy conditions. They stick like glue to the water, with decsent manueverability, but zero release in small waves.

@@Twonicles what would you consider a “low volume” SUP for someone weighing 195 pounds? I am surfing a 9 x 31 board now at probably 150 liters plus or minus. I would like to go a little narrower and lighter. What size/ volume are you surfing at 170 lbs…
@@hrburrell I went from 9' x 31 to 8' x 28 then 7'4 x 25. I am now down to 24 and ~73 liters. Anything under 100 liters would be a huge improvement for you. I weigh 73 kg, so my cubic liters is similar. In use that as reference for people sizing down
