My goodness, had tears watching this. Brought back so much memory especially when I saw the bridge. Have not been through here for over 40years. Thank you .🙏🏾🙏🏾
Not trying to defame any company but for me personally it's Guo all the way. For the 8times I have traveled with them to and fro I have never had a cause to complain
Nice video, how come it took so long to get to Onitsha? I remember in the ‘90’s I travelled by road a lot and did Osha to Lag in 5-6 hours with EKESON luxury bus (concord), Once we did a ‘Turnback’, i.e, left Lagos arriving at Osha at 1:30, & left Osha again at 2:30 arriving lag around 8pm. It was fun then, i miss Home & the ‘90’s .
The govt needs to toll these roads so they can be fully restored. Lagos to Benin should not exceed 4 hrs. Onitsha to Enugu...I used to do it in 1 hour when Abacha was in power. To hear it now takes 3hours from Onitsha to Enugu is scandalous. Toll these roads and let FERMA use the funds to do the needful.
@@jeffaris2012 You know what he meant but you just want to split hairs. The term toll can be a noun or a verb. In the latter usage, it is a verb meaning to charge money for road use.
Nice vlog Afam really enjoyed watching I had lot of negativity to say about the roads but ur creativity kept me speechless well done really quality video
first time I'm feeling what viewers feel bro this was so captivating...atleast an experience for we wey no leave Lagos Well done bro I really I enjoyed this video I wish it never ended...thats how interesting it was
@AfamOrji Really love your content sir. I will appreciate it if you can suggest a mid range hotel one can stay in Enugu as I am planning on coming tomorrow
This is a fascinating video account. However, would it not have been better to take a flight from Murtala Mohammed Airport to Enugu instead of going through all that hell with a bus? Remind me never to take a bus to Enugu.
I paid 72k for a one way trip to owerri last Christmas when I was in Nigeria, it’s crazy that it costs almost the same amount to travel by road one year later
The last time I travelled by road in Nigeria was in 2011 when I rounded up my NYSC and it was fun back then. Looking at how bad the roads are in Nigeria, I would dread traveling on these roads! I have driven coast to coast in the US and it’s the best experience not my life, and sometimes I would rather drive for 7hrs than fly for 1hr 30 mins in the US because of how comfortable it is to drive
In my humble opinion, the risk is not worth taking. If I can’t afford a flight, I will stay put. Life is too precious to take this type of risk. Good luck!
By the way your T2 airport video fantastic thanks. The background music was on point and you were able to showcase exactly everything by slowly paning from side to side. I re watch it everytime even the train station wow 👏
The last time I entered GIGM to Owerri I got there at 10pm. The bus spoilt on the way at Ogun state and Ondo where we had to stay for more than an Hour to get the car fixed....the Benin guy no waste time board another bus as they couldn't wait. Never again will I enter GIGM. Even the bus no come get AC, heat wan finish me ehhhn. As that woman said na them go bring down their own company
@AfamOrji yes back then but as with how people normally behave, they think that just because they now have people patronising them means they won't have alternatives. It was a horrible experience.
Nigeria need to do something about federal roads in the country. There are mountsins of granite rocks everywhere in Nigeria yet federal roads are bad. These bad federal roads is the one most important thing holding nigeria back.Nigerians wont understand it because the people have not experienced better in nigeria.I personally think federal government should handover federal roads to states for maintenance as priority roads with increase allocation.l believe states can maintain roads that passes through their states better.I feel sorry for Nigerians watching them travel on nigerian bad roads. Why cant the people rise up with one voice and demand for better federal roads across the country, especially when they hear how much the same government is spending on other things?Nice trip though!Thank you.❤
Nigeria remains underdeveloped nation in terms of infrastructures including motorways and roads. I live in the UK. London in Engkand to Glasgow in Scotland is 663 kilometres and it takes 7hours 30 minutes by road. While Lagis to Enugu takes 10 hours. Thus is not acceptable and encouraging for potential tourists who would have thought of visiting Nigeria with intention of touring the country by roads. If it were in the UK a distant like from Lagos to Enugu ( which is 556km) will take at most 6 hours by road. Time is money. Again staying for such amount of time on Nigerian roads predisposes one to road accidents, Armed-tobery, kidnapping and health hazards-respiratory disease die to air pollution. What a country. I pity Nigerians living in Nigeria.
Lol because you have jakpaa na. Home is still home regardless. Flights are also available for stress free and time management, all depending at your cost.

Watching from the United States and seeing your road trip back to Enugu was interesting. I liked that you all insisted on them changing the buses.
We had to because faulty buses end of stopping somewhere therby causing delays and unnecessary stress.
