Trooper rescues dog from culvert in Conklin, NY

On June 26, 2022, Trooper Jimmy Rasaphone responded to Pierce Creek Road in the town of Conklin, Broome County, for a report of a dog stuck in a culvert. The dog, named Lilah, had been missing for four days, and was discovered when the owner heard her yelping. Trooper Rasaphone crawled into the small culvert, and looped a collar around the dog's neck. The owner was then able to pull the dog to safety.
