I caught a 5 pound walleye out of Emerald using a jighead hook and a white grub, reeling straight on the bottom. Thats the strategy that I use, but that strat catches lots of pickerel. If you only want Walleye, do this strat in the video, but with patience comes big Walleye!
If your float fishing small minnows are a good bait. For spinning setups from personal experience all colored narrows spoons work, red 3 inch grub works, and red tiger medium spoon will consistently get me 2.85+ lb fish
@@CharlesMacro Id reccomend bringing a float rod with at least 15 pound test line if you wanna go for uniques or big bass. Also a decently heavy spin set up. For lures id reccomend poppers, frogs, and bass jigs. They all work very well. For bait, id reccomend bringing a lot of shiners. Thats what i use for trophies and unique bass as well as red drum and tarpon. Also bring a good size keepnet.
I just bought a Match/float road and reel about 19-22 ish so i'm good there. My spin/reel is still at 11lbs. I'm saving to get a Casting Rod/reel/ I almost have enough for the 22ish lb. I have to get up to lvl 30 to get the reel tho and lvl 28 half way so I may grind it out at Emerald for another day or so. I left and went back to MudWater for aday just cause I was getting bored at Emerald. Had been grinding for like 3-4 IRL days straight. I did go up like 15 lvls tho. lol. I want to do FLA tho and grind it out earning money and XP there now.

I think people get bored after catching walleye after walleye after walleye for hours on end. It makes a TON of money sure, but after catching 300 kg of walleye in 3-5 hours it does begin to get boring and repetitive. I use the Aurora 6' 3" same reel and lure and go after 9pm i set my reel at speed 2 stop and go and i get bites its a good method for grinding if you have a big stringer

SPOILER ALERT: for casting, use red or blue 1oz casting spoon(spinners work great too, but use on 2 speed, not three, ONLY use 3 when you're working the lure, straight reeling, use 2 most of the time. OK...for night/late evening, tbh ANY time of day it works, just switch between minnows, or shiners, one will always work! Minnows are your best bet at all times times, since you can buy them while at the lake...you're literally pulling in one after another with a 2 or 3 rod stand. 52 x 61 coords, it's the closet to the dock, and you can reel them in the fastest there, esp when dealing with two or 3 hooked, which happens a lot. 8lb test Flouro, 2/0 hook (2/0 for minnows, 3/0 works too for shiners, Octopus hooks obviously). set leader to 50-65. if you don't get bites reel in about 10 feet, that will change. tip: hotter, deeper leader, and fish the holes...normally you want to fish the EDGE of the holes for Walleye. HF bishes.
Nice fishing,brother. If you use barbless hooks,it will give you a lot more xp.You have to keep tension at all times though or you will loose the fish more easily. Float(2 meters) or feeder with small minnows. 1/0 barbless or normal. I don't know about spinning if you can change the hooks,you should be able too,in Russian Fishing 4,you can.
Instead of leaving a lake, advance time to the next day and your fish jail will empty. You can just make one day trip then extend your trip at that time too. Just make sure your license is still valid as well. (license is RWT.)

That's awesome! Glad you got it down and been making that big cash! You can really make some good money and fast leveling at Emerald Lake. Once I got my technique down, I raised up from lvl. 14 to around 26-30 in a matter of days. We'll just say a week or so. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Nice. You'll be able to upgrade easily at this lake. It's the go to when your money gets low. When you spend or try new lakes, just keep enough to always return to Emerald.
Another trick to sell the fish and not travel back and it is cheaper as well is rent a kayak, fill your keep net do not renew the rental when over and the fish get sold without traveling home. Saves 2000.
Here’s a tip.. the game is meant to simulate real life. So if you just keep on reeling em in and not stopping to lift your rod they don’t tire as easy, so if you stop reeling and lift your rod it slows the fish down and is how you can catch larger fish with lighter gear. But say you reel 3 times, stop, lift the rod, reel,stop, lift. And it stops you losing fish as well.
But I find that method works well for trout with barbless hooks. Stop the line going slack by continuously reeling and lifting. Keep up the good work!! 😁😁

@@masterkronixster I did the same thing same and had very similar results. I was totally unprepared. My keepnet was too small and I didn't bring the right bait for the big money fish like sturgeon. I was only catching bass, which wasn't bad actually, and walleye at Michigan. I actually left Cali to get large cutbait and returned and forgot to add the cutbait to my bag so I was thoroughly PO'd. I quit playing for like a week I so mad, lol. Funny thing is, if I had the cutbait, I wouldn't have been able to keep the Sturgeon in my net anyway. Lol. I catch uniques in Canada right now and they won't fit. I just haven't taken the time to grind up enough money to upgrade my keepnet again. I'll do it eventually tho.
Yes they are worth the savings but you want to eventually get the other keepnet. The only difference is with the fish jails you can't release fish if for instance, you catch a big fish with a full net and want to release a smaller one.
Is there a differance between keep nets and stingers because the only differance os thst the stringer isnt fish friendly but i dont know what that means
I think the only real difference is you can't release fish on a stringer if you need to make room or their is a penalty. I used the stringers until I could afford the or leveled to the bigger keepnets.
Difference to my knowledge is with a stringer you'd use for a target fish like for trophy or unique hunting. The reason being is because I believe stringers have a higher single fish capture weight than a net would allow. So you can catch bigger fish with stringer but hold less than a net and can't return them once you hit keep. Could be wrong though. 😅
Fish jails are usually cheaper but you can't release fish. This can be useful when your keepnet is full but you catch a more valuable fish and therefore would release the less valuable one.
Yes it still works and technically other fisherman do not affect your catches but I do find I have better more consistent luck in my own private server room.
It should be. As long as the weight can support the fish at this lake which can reach about 4-5 lbs max. You'll mostly be catching 1.5 - 3 pounders. If your setup is heavier it will just make reeling easier. If you go above about 9 lbs, you will get penalized and get less XP but the fish will reel in very easily. Hope that helps.
is it better to have lesser tension? I use a elemental 6”7’ and a 4500$ reel and i use my tension as max (high as I can go without snapping line) and I can easily reel in the trophy walleye and good size northern pike with little difficulty
I always push the tension as high as it will go without snapping. It will still take a while for the line to wear down. By that time you'll have made so much money, it won't matter.
I know exactly how, if you guys know how to catch the small mouth buffalo, just go to that hotspot and use red worms or night crawlers and you should get bites back to back with a bottom rod and reel set up, with a 1/0# hook for bigger than usually sizes, there's only Young's so don't expect to catch huge catfish at Lonestar.
@@Chaggy1978 I would only recommend catching Small mouths for exp but they don't pay very good, if you're just trying to get money go for Bass, catfish might not be the way to go, but if you're feeling like catching can you can just for the fun of it, they can help with completing missions
Try fishing at peak times, changing bait/lures, and different weather conditions. Also, sometimes if I'm not catching anything at a spot I either try another spot or even quit the game and come back in. Quitting and returning helps alot. Or if you have enough money, leave the lake/river and return. Hope that helps.
You can fish here with 6lb test and be ok. Trophies will take a lil work but should be reelable. 8lb-9lb will just make it very easy to tell them in. It's about so heavy as you want to go in this lake before they reduce xp for having too high a level.
It depends on why you're getting the license or if you just have money like that. I would not. Mudwater is a fun lake but the main fish is catfish, which don't make much money per pound. I would first but licenses at lakes you can farm and earn his money like Emerald Lake. Then maybe FLA, CAN, MICH, or CAL. Canada's White Moose is my favorite. CAL has some of the biggest fish in the game but you need a huge keepnet. But if you got it like that, Mudwater is ok. It's not a farm tho.
@@reverse1371 Emerald Lake will be your best friend once you finally go there. I was the same as you in I waited a while because of the cost. Save up until you feel comfortable, but believe me, once you do go there, you'll stay there for days and probably make $200,000+ or so before you leave, and you'll level into the mid 20's and upgrade you gear multiple times. I made soooo much money at Emerald Lake but it gets boring after while and you'll eventually want to find a new challenge. Then you'll come back after getting overconfident and heading to some high level lake too soon and not making any money and daily costs will almost wipe you out. Back to Emerald Lake. It will become your backup lake. When you do go just follow the directions of this video and make sure you have the correct lure. You'll make a ton of money.
@@reverse1371 Go to the next day to sell fish. Don't buy the unlimited yet, although it may be worth it. See how you like Emerald, FLA, CAN, MICH, and CAL first. They are more expensive but you may like them better. I personally prefer CAN best although CAL has one of the biggest fish in the game.
Check the "Lure Weight" for your rod and make sure your lure is within the range. You may have bought the same lure type, but it may be a different weight. lmk if this helps.

Yes, your stringer/keepnet does empty at the end on each day and your receive your money for the sale of you fish inventory. I wasn't sure about this at first. Also, I must amend my statement about choosing your amount of days to fish upfront. You can do this but it's not necessary as you can choose to fish one day at a time and when you end each day, you can choose to pay the fee and keep fishing multiple days or leave. Just don't leave the lake until you have saved up and are ready to go back to the main home screen/shop and pay travel fees to return to or go to a new lake. Hope that helps.
Hey guys I can buy everything except for the Aurora 8’ 2”. I’m only level 9, are there any other rods that are similar and will work with the rest of the setup
Any spin rod that can handle the weight or close to it should work fine. The walleye only get up to about 5lbs so as long as your setup can handle that weight, you should be good. My setup just makes reeling in quicker and easier without loosing XP for having too good a setup for the fish.

Another trick to sell the fish and not travel back and it is cheaper as well is rent a kayak, fill your keep net do not renew the rental when over and the fish get sold without traveling home. Saves 2000.

I get the most fish with a 7cm yellow shad, i cast left to the yellow tree, i get so many walleys and already 2 unique chain pickerel!

Here’s a tip.. the game is meant to simulate real life. So if you just keep on reeling em in and not stopping to lift your rod they don’t tire as easy, so if you stop reeling and lift your rod it slows the fish down and is how you can catch larger fish with lighter gear. But say you reel 3 times, stop, lift the rod, reel,stop, lift. And it stops you losing fish as well.

@@CharlesMacro as soon as i got to lvl 30 i raced there only to realize thats not very smart... a very expensive mistake.. so i suggest lvl 35 this unlocks a few extras to take,

@@masterkronixster I did the same thing same and had very similar results. I was totally unprepared. My keepnet was too small and I didn't bring the right bait for the big money fish like sturgeon. I was only catching bass, which wasn't bad actually, and walleye at Michigan.
I actually left Cali to get large cutbait and returned and forgot to add the cutbait to my bag so I was thoroughly PO'd. I quit playing for like a week I so mad, lol. Funny thing is, if I had the cutbait, I wouldn't have been able to keep the Sturgeon in my net anyway. Lol. I catch uniques in Canada right now and they won't fit. I just haven't taken the time to grind up enough money to upgrade my keepnet again. I'll do it eventually tho.

Yes they are worth the savings but you want to eventually get the other keepnet. The only difference is with the fish jails you can't release fish if for instance, you catch a big fish with a full net and want to release a smaller one.

Is there a differance between keep nets and stingers because the only differance os thst the stringer isnt fish friendly but i dont know what that means
I think the only real difference is you can't release fish on a stringer if you need to make room or their is a penalty. I used the stringers until I could afford the or leveled to the bigger keepnets.
Difference to my knowledge is with a stringer you'd use for a target fish like for trophy or unique hunting. The reason being is because I believe stringers have a higher single fish capture weight than a net would allow. So you can catch bigger fish with stringer but hold less than a net and can't return them once you hit keep. Could be wrong though. 😅

Fish jails are usually cheaper but you can't release fish. This can be useful when your keepnet is full but you catch a more valuable fish and therefore would release the less valuable one.

Yes it still works and technically other fisherman do not affect your catches but I do find I have better more consistent luck in my own private server room.

It should be. As long as the weight can support the fish at this lake which can reach about 4-5 lbs max. You'll mostly be catching 1.5 - 3 pounders. If your setup is heavier it will just make reeling easier. If you go above about 9 lbs, you will get penalized and get less XP but the fish will reel in very easily. Hope that helps.
is it better to have lesser tension? I use a elemental 6”7’ and a 4500$ reel and i use my tension as max (high as I can go without snapping line) and I can easily reel in the trophy walleye and good size northern pike with little difficulty
I always push the tension as high as it will go without snapping. It will still take a while for the line to wear down. By that time you'll have made so much money, it won't matter.

I know exactly how, if you guys know how to catch the small mouth buffalo, just go to that hotspot and use red worms or night crawlers and you should get bites back to back with a bottom rod and reel set up, with a 1/0# hook for bigger than usually sizes, there's only Young's so don't expect to catch huge catfish at Lonestar.
@@Chaggy1978 I would only recommend catching Small mouths for exp but they don't pay very good, if you're just trying to get money go for Bass, catfish might not be the way to go, but if you're feeling like catching can you can just for the fun of it, they can help with completing missions

Hi I’m a new player that is level 6 and is having a hard time making money and catching fish In your lone star lake spot, do you have any tips?
Try fishing at peak times, changing bait/lures, and different weather conditions. Also, sometimes if I'm not catching anything at a spot I either try another spot or even quit the game and come back in. Quitting and returning helps alot. Or if you have enough money, leave the lake/river and return. Hope that helps.

You can fish here with 6lb test and be ok. Trophies will take a lil work but should be reelable. 8lb-9lb will just make it very easy to tell them in. It's about so heavy as you want to go in this lake before they reduce xp for having too high a level.

It depends on why you're getting the license or if you just have money like that. I would not. Mudwater is a fun lake but the main fish is catfish, which don't make much money per pound. I would first but licenses at lakes you can farm and earn his money like Emerald Lake. Then maybe FLA, CAN, MICH, or CAL. Canada's White Moose is my favorite. CAL has some of the biggest fish in the game but you need a huge keepnet.
But if you got it like that, Mudwater is ok. It's not a farm tho.

@@reverse1371 Emerald Lake will be your best friend once you finally go there. I was the same as you in I waited a while because of the cost. Save up until you feel comfortable, but believe me, once you do go there, you'll stay there for days and probably make $200,000+ or so before you leave, and you'll level into the mid 20's and upgrade you gear multiple times.
I made soooo much money at Emerald Lake but it gets boring after while and you'll eventually want to find a new challenge. Then you'll come back after getting overconfident and heading to some high level lake too soon and not making any money and daily costs will almost wipe you out. Back to Emerald Lake. It will become your backup lake.
When you do go just follow the directions of this video and make sure you have the correct lure. You'll make a ton of money.

@@reverse1371 Go to the next day to sell fish. Don't buy the unlimited yet, although it may be worth it. See how you like Emerald, FLA, CAN, MICH, and CAL first. They are more expensive but you may like them better. I personally prefer CAN best although CAL has one of the biggest fish in the game.

Yes, your stringer/keepnet does empty at the end on each day and your receive your money for the sale of you fish inventory. I wasn't sure about this at first.
Also, I must amend my statement about choosing your amount of days to fish upfront. You can do this but it's not necessary as you can choose to fish one day at a time and when you end each day, you can choose to pay the fee and keep fishing multiple days or leave.
Just don't leave the lake until you have saved up and are ready to go back to the main home screen/shop and pay travel fees to return to or go to a new lake. Hope that helps.

Hey guys I can buy everything except for the Aurora 8’ 2”. I’m only level 9, are there any other rods that are similar and will work with the rest of the setup
Any spin rod that can handle the weight or close to it should work fine. The walleye only get up to about 5lbs so as long as your setup can handle that weight, you should be good. My setup just makes reeling in quicker and easier without loosing XP for having too good a setup for the fish.
