    So believe or not, after many years of watching "how to" videos on TH-cam, this will be the first time i've felt compelled to make any kind of comment. I saw your video and was very impressed with your creation. It was exactly what I needed for my wife and I to use for our projects. I purchased your plans for this table and was able to follow and assemble very easily using the videos you put out. It took me a couple of weekends and i'm very happy with the end result. I did follow your advice regarding the placement of the hinges for the wheels. Great alternative and much less work. The only thing that you might want to edit on your lumber cutout list is in reference to part B of the plywood. You listed part "B" x 4 when in reality one needs six of these. Two more than the listed four to glue onto part "C". Other than that, my completed table lies proudly on the wall, tucked away. Thanks!

      Hi Carl. Wow, thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and providing the feedback! Really glad you enjoyed the videos and my DIY plans for this. Your story is an encouragement for me to keep making more things like this. 🤗 Thank you for mentioning the error with part B. A couple other people have brought that to my attention and I've corrected it since. I'd be thrilled to see photos of your build and feature it in my gallery, if you'd like to email some to me. Thanks again and have a great day!

    • @wxviewer
      @wxviewer 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      In addition to that, I suggest one other thing. A layout of where to cut up the 4x8 sheet of plywood into its separate pieces.
      I'd like to just know where to drop the lines for the cuts ASAP instead of trying to figure the puzzle. 😁
      Oh, and in the material list. 2x4s (x8) but what length? I'm assuming 8 eight footers?
      Loved the videos! Bought the plans, now finally getting to the build! Thanks!!

      @PatrickScott9192 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@wxviewer I realize this comment is 2 months old but for the sake of others that might have this question whilst learning, the 2x4 pieces listed are studs. Studs are exactly 92 5/8 inches in length. Best of luck!

      I would simplify the casters/legs by extending the length of the table a few inches so that the casters can be attached to the legs directly and not interfere with each other when he legs are folded.

    • @IgorRockt
      @IgorRockt 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@nauy The point is that with the casters attached in a fixed position, the workbench wouldn't be that stable anymore.
      Note that in the video, he only uses the casters to move the workbench to the desired position, then folds them away, so the workbench is standing directly on the legs, not on the casters anymore (which is MUCH more stable than it standing on the - locked - casters!).

SLOWLY OVER TIME. now the last component is time. currently rebuilding a split level deck and it's taking forever because i'm doing it myself after work, in the dark, AND correcting some mistakes the previous home-owner made. so yeah, now i waste a LOT of time being jealous because i am stuck on one major project and can't go do other unnecessary stuff.
