Great video. You should do it I built a scx18. I took a imx anaconda and put Scx24 axles and drivetrain on that chassis and a furitek brushless setup in it. 🤙🏼
I found with the stock tires if you cut out every other lug, helps much with weights. I also got the metal axles and driveshaft with a 2speed transmission. Works great for crawling and trailing. I've gotten hooked on these little beasts. I've even put a Bluetooth speaker system in the camper/top😂 It's getting a little heavy.

After I decided to use an SCX24 ESC on my C-24 I really don’t see me using anything else. Maybe a furitek. I’m currently running the the WPL 2 speed transmission with a 370 motor no problem
If you have not already, go for the WPL C24-1KM. Or the Land Cruiser version. Comes with better everything, and it’s all metal except for the dog bones. But you’ll still have the problem of the transmission getting hung up on obstacles due to the low placement and low CG
Scx24 fj40 would be neat! I’d be thrilled to see any of the old land-cruisers.
