Unveiling a Piece of Yugoslav History: PTT Mail Bag
This video explores a unique find - an aged mail bag from the former Yugoslavia's PTT which served as the state-run postal service throughout Yugoslavia's history, from the kingdom's era all the way to the country's breakup in the 1990s.
The bag's lock corrosion hints at its potential use for island mail delivery across the Adriatic Sea. The lock, while pickable in our demonstration, adds a layer of intrigue, suggesting a time with different security needs.
