    What do you think of accuface? Something I noticed in the videos is that the CC4 blend shapes could use some work. When a character is talking, the mouth rarely closes and there's no elesticity to the mouth shapes. Looks kind of stiff.

    Nice video!! I'm having a problem bringing in Mixamo animations to use on characters I create in CC4? I get distorted characters. What am I doing wrong?

    Can I take these into blender without needing Iclone? Do the shapekeys move over?

    Great Video. Thank you so much. I love this program as well. How do you make your own clothes? You mentioned that in your video. This is one feature I would like to improve for my characters

      Thanks! I make my clothes in Blender and import them into CC4 for rigging. After that I texture the clothing in Substance Painter.

      Thanks! I will definitely consider making one.

      @@LibertasVideo I came here after watching your video on the reallustion youtube. I have been trying so many different apps to try to make my own clothes. Tried simplycloth, marvelous designer, blender by itself and really do not have much luck. What is strange if you buy from the marketplace they just seem to work without much editing.

    I recently got CC4 (and just a couple of days ago they added wrinkles!) and I'm loving it so far. You demonstrated that you can adjust collision bounds, basic cloth physics, etc. I'm planning on making characters between CC4 and Blender before using in Unreal 5. Do you think that's a decent workflow? Or what would you recommend on a budget?

    • @LibertasVideo
      @LibertasVideo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the wrinkles are awesome! I personally make my characters in CC4 and make accessories/clothing in Blender. Animate in iClone 8 and export to Blender for rendering. But your workflow seems decent too. I think UE5 is a great destination for your characters.

      It would be great if iClone could get Octane or another 3rd party renderer

    Hello! A little random but I recently saw your review of your modern assassin outfit from about 6 years ago and really loved what you did with it!
    I was wondering if you had a similar idea for a modern Connor Kenway outfit? He's my favorite from the series and would love to have a day to day outfit themed after him, thanks much!

    can I ask a question would u advice if I want to create a character I use character creator 4 then if I want to make specific animation for this character like a specific attack animation or something like that , do I use unreal engine 5 directly or use iclone then export that animation to unreal engine 5 and would u use blender in this process too if you wan even more customization to ur character ?

    Have you had any success on achieving the level of subsurface scattering like at 1:55 on blender ?

    • @LibertasVideo
      @LibertasVideo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just relooked at my scene I used for the thumbnail (which I did in Blender), and I think you can get some pretty good results of the subsurface scattering as seen in the shot you referenced. If your not using the CC Blender Tools Plugin, to import your CC4/IC8 characters to Blender, definitely check it out. Once imported you can then adjust the Subsurface Falloff and Subsurface Scale parameters, and potentially the subsurface color if you like. But I think to get similar results you need to have some high contrast lighting and a strong backlight for your character. Hope that points you in the right direction.

    Is iClone still necessary for live motion? I'm not sure if I need it in addition to CC4. Thanks!

    Question - does anyone who creates characters in character creator 4 - does that person own full rights to character and can do whatever they want with it

    When you will find in youtube just iClone tutorials , but no more iClone animation created by iClone users , it means that iClone lost vibe . And we may need to ask our self why , until will not be to late . Making all those tutorials for iClone users is a big help , and thanks a lot for that . But like i told you . R no iClone 8 animations in youtube made by iClone users , like it was when iclone 5/6 or 7 was in use , so we may need to ask our self why , until will not be to late . From my point of view i may like to tell you why i bot my first iclone 5 on the first place . ( Because at that time iclone 5 was a type of perfect machine making animation ( The render was very fast ) But if we want to get that type of fast render in iclone 6/7 or 8 is not the same like it was in 5 . And now you may say that will be indicated to buy a better computer what will cost me up to 4000$ , but i also have friends who have a computer like that , but the render it is not that fast like it was in iclone 5 when i just bot . The second thing is that ( Changing always the order of those buttons in iclone and the name of the option from it will not allow iclone users to learn well iclone and become better animators of iclone . But will only confuse users in time trying to find buttons like it was in the old version of iclone . I was thinking to buy iclone 8 too , but when i see that all buttons and options r not in the same location like it was , i change my minds . Because i want to create with this app animations , and not just always learn where you change those buttons in the new updates .

    Can I retarget the facial animation to a non-CC4 character in Blender and still maintain the quality?
    Thanks!

    CC4 is good, pity it doesn't easily import into Iclone 7.

    Bla bla bla (no offense to you budie im also using Reallusion but + BLENDER ofc) , where are DYNAMIC WRINKLES ? ... You know WRINKLES adding realism to character etc to EVERYTHING. Reallusion doing one thing WRONG, NOT LISTENING the customers like me for example - i said to them TONES of improvents nothing is applied yet, wich are actually BASIC things , thats why i jump to BLENDER instead being longer a customer o Reallusion. I spend a lot of money for Reallusion. Then i DISCOVERED Blender and everything has changes i FUSE BLENDER + REALLUSION :)

    For this amount of absurd money I expected it to have the most basic feature of making a character. HAIR.
    Even Poser for a fraction of the price had this in the 1990's ffs.
    But nooo we have to use blender to make hair and import it. I might as well just make the WHOLE thing in blender then. Which defeats the purpose for this software to even exist. Other than to milk you out of money for $100 eyelashes and $200 export fees.

    • @Thefutureofsuccessbootygang
      @Thefutureofsuccessbootygang 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      what do you mean export fee?

    • @HalkerVeil
      @HalkerVeil 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Thefutureofsuccessbootygang If you want to export your character with products from the Character Creator Market, then you pay a fee. Export fee is upwards of hundreds of dollars per item. For a pair of shoes. An accessory, even a simple hat.
      They'll let you spend all your time making a character then not tell you what will have an export fee. So you have to go through everything and remove it one by one. Hunting down that one item.
      They put this pain point in on purpose so you just buy it out of frustration. A studio will do that. Further enabling this kind of tactic.
      Got 99% of your character built but need the lips to move slightly different? $400 for the epic super pack of modifiers for the mouth only!
      Want to explort the character with those modifiers? Another $400 because you didn't buy the export version.
      Better to just not use it at all and make your character in a non paywall environment.
