great review, say you have the recorder set to voice activation - and left in your store for a week as an example. when i come to pug the device into a computer, will it show time and date of each recording taken. many thanks

@ cali dude - Behind something like a couch or under a shelf would generally be a good placement, just as long as it is not covered up by any fabric, drawer or inside a purse or bag, which would hinder the 30-40ft pickup range that is possible in an open environment. Good Morning. Yes this device could do that. It has a built in Omnidirectional microphone which picks up sound with equal gain from all sides or directions of the microphone. This means that whether a user speaks into the microphone from the front, back, left or right side, the microphone will record the signals all with equal gain.

i just purchased one and i am setting it up thru my chromebook will it still record if i dont set up the date and time part? i just found out that it doesnt work with chrome but PC only

Hello , the sound of home appliances such as AC can operate the recoding ?
