But of course, you can save your files on a hard drive without the viruses and then reformat it. I reformatted the laptop i'm using yesterday and now it works great. Then again, it isn't that old. If you decide to get a new one, I suggest a Windows 8 laptop because Windows 8 is gonna upgrade to Windows 10 this month, and my dad says he hasn't seen a thing wrong with Windows 10.
