I'm a Ghanaian,an Asante-Akyem to be precise. i majored in English at the University of Cape Coast but honestly, i prefer to speak twi all day everyday than English. When I meet African Diasporans in my current department at Legon, i intentionally speak Twi to them with the intent of helping them pick a word or two with them.

Nigeria should be doing comparisons with other populous countries and not with Ghana. A small country like us? Like pls they should challenge themselves with other bigger countries doing the most for their economies with their size and resources.
This comparisons is not helping any of us. Nigeria, we are not your mates, we agree. You dont even have a mate in Africa. No African country is even close to your size. Your mates are China, US, India and other highly populated countries in the world. Be contending with them so they challenge you. You gain nothing with the comparisons with Ghana. We gain nothing from comparing ourselves to you, too. Our mates are Canada, Kenya and others.
Everybody should go and do their homework. Lol

Balanced presentation and from personal experience staying in the two cities I quite agree with her positions. One more, in Lagos people hardly bother about what you do, who you are and where you come from i.e country of origin/ethnicity as relationship tends to be transactional and must be mutually beneficial. This is not often the same across the boarder.

If people in Lagos don't care where you come from why do they tell some tribes to go back to their state or even burn down their stores? Not the same thing... a wrong comparison... South Africans attacked legal Nigerians and immigrants from other African countries as long as they were Black... Nigeria deported only illegal Ghanaians... the legal ones stayed...some worked for my parents back then and no one attacked them or tried to kill them, like was done in South Africa...big difference!

The failing government at the time blamed Ghanaians for their failures. Nigerians themselves were completely indifferent. We still have more Ghanaians in Nigeria than Ghana has Nigerians in their country and Nigerians have never attacked them before nor any other African for that matter.

The lady you are reviewing her content is a Nigeria. She said more terrible things about Nigeria than she said of Ghana yet I see some Ghanians in the comment section calling her out and saying she's a liar. Really? It is so glaring that Ghanaians don't want anyone to say anything good about Nigeria at all. I used to criticize another TH-camr by name Ajim Macy who's a Camerounian for that matter, for always criticizing Ghana and SA in favour of Nigeria, but now I'm beginning to understand why he does. I'm sometimes confused what the hatred towards Nigeria is all about if not that they are simply displaying their jeolousy.
