I was fascinated to learn about the sleeve parts and kirtle fronts and stunned by the creativity and hard work you and your friend put into your outfits. Those Tudors really knew how to upcycle and elevate a fit.
Watching this is making me want to make a Tudor gown as well. That embroidery is so beautiful! 18 hours is crazy! How long do you think this project took in total?
I think I’m close to 300 hours, with everything (underwear and headdress included). That’s including the hours Torunn spent embroidering the trim, forepart and foresleeves! So it’s quite a massive project 😅
