It has its place, like someone's gotta do it and make it brutal AF but yeah I think it's just good to change it up and explore all the different kinds of metal vocals. Everything from Lorna Shore to Invent Animate to Sleep Token man. Doesn't have to be your fav but hopefully you can still like it and jam cause some bands just do it so well
it's very intresting to hear opinions; I on the contrary have stopped listening to normal singing, classic vocals because they sounds very soft and emotionless to me; compared to someone doing harsh vocals that gives me the feeling of someone actually screaming irl, and you know people scream when they are full of emotions and such; but I like your take!

Music is great. But I never did like this kind of singing. I know it's not easy to do and I can't. But I think it sounds forced and lacks emotion.
Understandable take. I think there's a happy middle ground but few vocalists go there.
