There's a notion in Turkey that goes "If Mor ve Ötesi was based in the US or England, they'd be huge." I mean I kinda agree with that, even in Turkey they were huge back in late 90s and 2000s. I'm saying even in Turkey because pop was like the only popular genre back in the 90s and alt rock was more like a niche. Mor ve Ötesi, Athena and Duman brought it into the spotlight. Their biggest album was "Dünya Yalan Söylüyor" which literally means "The World is Lying". It's my favourite too along with "Büyük Düşler" which means "Big/Grand Dreams". Bir Derdim Var is from Dünya Yalan Söylüyor, but their biggest hit was Cambaz, although I think that song might be a little heavy for your taste. Their later albums have a different sound to them compared to the earlier ones. They're more mellow and focused on lyrics. I actually think that these albums are more suited for you. Their lyrics are usually poetic and abstract, which is pretty unique because when it comes to the alternative rock scene in Turkey, the lyrics are usually more direct. I can recommend Oyunbozan, Araf, Küçük Sevgilim and, my favourite, Sevda Çiçeği.
Araf!! Ayıp Olmaz Mı? is also a great one. The song Bisiklet is beautiful and a bit sad... th-cam.com/video/i7uGwqHQUYQ/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=netdm%C3%BCzik

Mor ve ötesi exist more than 20 years. They make soft rock. You should try: Mor ve Ötesi - Deli Mor ve Ötesi - Uyan And I also recommend: Vega - Delinin Yıldızı Kalben - Saçlar Kalben - Al Beni Mabel Matiz - Toy Mabel Matiz - Öyle Kolaysa Mabel Matiz - A Canım (you can see many Turkish traditions in this one) Mabel Matiz - Sarmaşık Zakkum - Ben Ne Yangınlar Gördüm Zakkum - Hatıran Yeter Halil Sezai - Duyanlara Duymayanlara (It feels like an İstanbul night) Halil Sezai - İsyan Halil Sezai - Yangın Var Halil Sezai - Galata Buray - Kimsenin Suçu Yok Buray - İstersen Seksendört - Kendime Yalan Söyledim Seksendört - Faili Meçhul Madrigal - Seni Dert Etmeler Altın Gün - Leyla Altın Gün - Cemalım Altın Gün - Yanıyorum Göksel - Hiç Yok Teoman - Güzel Bir Gün Kurban - Yine Çilekeş - Kendimden Geriye Çilekeş - Yok Pinhani - Sırası Değil (JoyTurk Akustik) Haluk Levent & Melek Mosso - Zülüf Haluk Levent - Dert Olur
biraz sıkılmış gibisiniz 😂 . Ama video tercihleriniz yanlış oluyor bu aralar sanki birilerine danışıp çekseniz daha guzel kararlar verebilirsiniz sizi seviyorum 🌼
Mor ve Ötesi is one of the oldest rock bands in Turkey. They have been together since their college years in 1995, even high school for some of the band members. This is a record from a special concert in Hagia Irene church in Istanbul which is a mystical place. They have so many good albums and songs. They have joined Eurovision in 2008 and finished in 7th place with their song "Deli". They are still active and doing music.
Helloaaaaaa! One of my teenage songs is "voaaaaa!" I say. As you mentioned in the video, one of the songs they released in their first period, this song is from 17 years ago. Previously, I sent a comment to the song of the group maNga. I am very happy today, I can suggest that it is from newer periods, I see that you pay attention to live performances in general, so I leave you with the names of the live performances of the videos, I hope you like it while reviewing, I wanted to share the different sounds with you. I hope you enjoy :3 1. "Model - Yalnızlık Senfonisi (JoyTurk Akustik)" 2. "Pentagram - Bir (Video Version Live at 4 Subat 2007 Bostanci)" 3. "Athena - Arsız Gönül" 4. "Hayko Cepkin - Bertaraf Et (Concert Live) (İzmir Gündoğdu Meydanı - 19 Mayıs 2019)" 5. "Haluk Levent - Elfida (Jolly Joker)" 6. "Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut - Islansın (Pür Studio Live Session)" 7. "Deniz Tekin - Böyle | Sofar Istanbul" 8."Mabel Matiz - Gel (JoyTurk Akustik)"
React to: Azerin seslendiriyor ''Çırpınırdı Karadeniz'' Also has a great orchestra like this one. Not rock themed though. It’s more like opera. You will enjoy this recommendation, I’m sure of it!
Mor ve Ötesi - Cambaz, Emre Aydın - You Can't Forget Me. Please react for these. You are looking awesome again btw. You are like sunshine to my cloudy day. Your presence is a source of joy 🌹 An Explain: We Turks love lyricism in any music, we call this lyriquality = lirikalite. That's why we enjoy these songs much more. Because meanings are so good. Maybe that's because of Turkish language, i don't know but i listen English slow musics, i barely got emotional. But this Turkish slow songs are so good i cried a lot with these songs. We listened these in our relationships. We love with this songs and we broke up with this songs. We remembered our ex loves with this songs.
u should react to other eurovision entries of Turkey, like Hadise - Düm Tek Tek, Sebnem Paker - Dinle, Mor ve Ötesi - Deli, Can Bonomo - Love Me Back ❤️

Sorry but obviously Mor ve ötesi is not one of the oldest rock bands in Turkey. Maybe late 60s or early 70s bands are the first rock bands in Turkey.
@@orhandincer2887 I just meant from the 90’s era to state that they are not newly formed as an answer to the question in the video. You are right.
Mor ve ötesi- Sultan -ı Yegah
