Crysis 2 is a first-person shooter video game the second main installment of the Crysis series, and a sequel to the 2007 video game Crysis, and its expansion Crysis Warhead. The player assumes the control of a Force Recon Marine named "Alcatraz", who gains ownership of the Nanosuit 2.0 from Army Delta Force officer Laurence "Prophet" Barnes, who returns from the original Crysis. CryNet Systems has been hunting Prophet to retrieve the suit, inadvertently pursuing Alcatraz, believing he is Prophet.

If they remake the trilogy, I hope they’ll improve the stealth as the player’s brute force against enemies would increase ranks and difficulty (and killing them all undetected would increase difficulty and ranking in 25%), but as long as you sneak past human enemies undetected without harming them (and as long as you take out the Ceph in their battlefield without killing them, and they would allow you to pass unless fired upon or unless you've killed other squad members previously, and they'll become allies in later missions), then they'll become allies in the final mission(s) to take on a bigger threat. The Ceph, however, shows no mercy no matter the actions you take, and thanks to the hive mind, they'll increase difficulty and ranks even when you use stealth kills on them.
