    Hiya!! I've just subbed to your channel!! You swing a pretty mean paintbrush, although I think you're a bit of a perfectionist. "chamberlainpaintings" is a pretty well known plein air beachscape painter around these parts, and he advises to always be open to "magic" which sometimes happens when we're trying to make other things happen. The worst case is we can miss something really great that we did by accident, and end up overworking a section of a painting after it's already in a good place. I think you should give your ocean waves a few days to possibly grow on you. They look more interesting to me than the photo you're working from. That may also be the case throughout your painting. You know what your goals are, but overall I think you've a got a winner there!!

      Thanks a lot. I really admire Chamberlain’s technique and since finding his channel I have been trying to lighten up and get looser. The video preceding this one is an example of me trying to emulate his speed and not get bogged down in details. Thanks for subscribing!
