I had a similar experience eith plastic grips recently. I was so glad that i jad the lanuard around mt wrist.

Nice fish,like your casual retrieve,too many just want to put too much pressure on the fish and get them in the boat.

Impressive buddy, lovely looking fish - FAT. Happen to me once before, and lucky I find them too which was such a relief. I had the cord hook around my risk but the cord broke. I now refuse to use them and now always use a glove. Great Stuff Dmac.

Very nice fish. About where up on the Murray are you fishing? Only been back to the Murray once this season around cohuna/koondrook and the river is full of carp
