I own a RoadTrek Ranger RT. I hope they have improved the suspension system and cabinet hardware, My RoadTrek's suspension and cabinet latches are so poor, I had to add extra hook latches on the cabinets to keep them from flying open and spilling contents with even the most minor bumps in the road, or just going around a corner at anything above 15 MPH.

One of these with a nice big slide-out would make it livable.
The problem with slide-outs in a small b van is that they add so much weight that they can easily overload the carrying capacity of the RV. We have only seen 1 slide-out in a b van, and that model is no longer available. If you step up to a B+ motorhome, then slide-outs are much more common.
My RV is one of the rare Class B models with a slide out. It expands the dinette/sleeping area and makes a huge difference in eliminating that claustrophobic feeling many Bs have.
I've never been into RV's but I really like these class B's
My favorite so far. It would be 100% perfect if it had a W/D. Perfect for a retired person or couple on the go year-round visiting family all over the country. No need to impose nor get a motel room, just park in their driveway. :)
Hard to get a W/D into anything smaller than a Class A without a lot of custom work. Inside a Class B is probably impossible, B+ maybe.

Nice looking van but looks like they weren't thinking about splatter with the stove...no backsplash and the spice rack in the way. Have to admit the white van with the bamboo is gorgeous. They've needed more wood options. Pity you can't even get white as an option like in the ZRT....also on the other vans.
?? it's my impression that the hinged stove cover performs back splash duty

All class b camper vans usually come with a propane furnace for when the temp gets below 40 F. A few models also offer heat pumps for electric heating above 40.

well to be fair there is a 4x4 version that is more suited to wintertime ski area / mountain use...reviews are out there but it also has a higher clearance which hurts handling
There is one problem with the self-start feature to recharge the Ion batteries. This is that a lot of suburban and certainly cities that have a 10 minute idle law. This is why most semis with sleepers now have gen-sets. It would be nice if the feature were engineered to be switchable between the generator or the vehicle engine.
Maybe you should contact Roadtrek with this important information. They are based in Canada and probably have no idea of these laws. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Well you're a dealer and have better contacts than I do. I suspect that the issue is US laws vs the Canadian ones.
Media Ecologist Here in MD we also have those "idle laws". You cannot start and leave an engine idle even if you are in the vehicle. It has to do with environmental protection laws and health and safety laws. I have to agree - these companies build these vehicles with no idea as to what laws the US states have incorporated!
Hi, Toronto has an "idle law" as well. Kitchener is not far from Toronto and am sure RoadTrek are aware of anti-idling laws. The difference is that in truly cold temperatures, we are allowed to keep the engine running for heat. The Agile is designed for boondocking (my definition being dry camping in the wilderness, not Walmart) and not too many locations where you'd boondock would have idle laws. Love the concept of this vehicle but the $$$ for it ...

Can the 4x4 model handle some bad gravel roads with pot holes without the interior coming apart at the seams?
