I can't help feeling that UEBS should have an "on death" effect. Vehicles could explode, or aliens could do acid splash damage against everyone nearby.

*SPOILER ALERT*
The Kukri Soldiers basically won this. The fire base basically stalled out long enough that the Aliens started giving up and running into melee splash that were tightly packed enough to work off each other's attack cooldowns so there was always an attack going through. The Hulkbuster was just one big, sturdy distraction noodle.
The only way the aliens could have won this would have been if they completely stretched the advancing Kukri out so thin that they could swarm them hard. Then they would just have to put up with a Hulkbuster at the end.
