I think what happened is that you used the Wrong Lightcone on Arlan. He doesn't use "Something Irreplacable" very well. His best lightcones are "A Secret Vow", "On the Fall of an Aeon", and "The Unreachable Side". Also "Rutilant Arena" and "Space Sealing Station" are objectively better than "Inert Salsotto" on him. source: I am an Arlan Main and I have been regularly dishing out 35,000 on average with his skill and almost 100k with his ult (I only have him at E4). I know it isn't as much as what Jingliu and Blade can do but at least it's better than what your Arlan is doing 😅

A totally thematic team, Blade wants to die, Lingliu also wants too and is dying, Tingyun is probably dead and Arlan is dead in life. All of them having a friendly competition to see who can accomplish the goal first. If you are out of ideas a good one could be doing a guide for new (or even old) players in which characters should they invest, not so centered in 5 star ones because they are an obvious must build, but in the 4 star ones, because they are easier to get and max their eidolons, and what relics stats and substats look for them. This could also bring more views seeing that one of your most viewed videos is the tier list 5 months ago and people are always searching for an optimal build for their characters.

I've used FX, Jingles, Blade, and Arlan for a while with some degree of success. The team preset is titled "Maso-chists" (because "masochists" gets censored). Lady Fu taking on damage from allies fits with the theme of a whole party that just damages itself. And yet, she keeps them all alive!
Im kinda impressed tingyun lasted that long, mine just kept dying or is in life support after doing auto farming mats... With 2 destruction and luocha or lynx
He can actually be pretty crazy, as I’ve seen videos of him sweep through MoC doing pretty high numbers, however it mainly requires E6 and high investment alongside specific teams, it sucks that they nerfed his Eidolons as well. I’m coping for some sort of relic set or character that would synergise really well with him, but I guess I’ll have to wait and see
@@samkelly5045 He synergizes really fucking well with Bronya, Gepard and FuXuan. Bronya is Skill Point heavy and Arlan does not consume any skill points. Gepard is his best shielder as he can safely keep Arlan at 1 HP. FuXuan, while not as good as Gepard in shielding, can help him a lot in Buffing with her Crit Rate buff (and Crit Dmg buff at E1) and in acquiring Fighting Spirit Stacks in SU. Pair him up with Bronya, Tingyun/Yukong/Pela and FuXuan/Gepard and you will see drastic improvement in his Damage.
Punching bag team. Basically the characters with the most underrealized kits/story roles. Yanqing, Ultimate Punching Bag (I’m still crying about that), Arlan, nerfed to oblivion, Yukong, had a small role and then basically forgot she exists, and either Fire MC, extreme budget Gepard 1, or March 7th, doomed to be benched without Remembrance. Hook could also work somewhere, since she was in the story for like a hot second and then never even got into meta.

And she died :(
The funniest thing is that when i started honkai star rail it was during Blade's first banner ever. Somehow i got lucky enough to get him four times before his banner ended. And before that i managed to get arlan at have him reach E6. I remember using arlan early game and calling him discount Blade 😂
