Hey Chris, next time you're in Illinois, can you cover Sun River Terrace? It's so 3rd world that I saw people living out of tents deep in the woods that border the town. I went at dusk, and it was so terrifying that I hauled ass out of there. There's hardly any information on the internet about this small slice of hell, and I think it deserves recognition. Even the small towns in Kankakee County are blighted. I saw blight in Herscher, too. Can you just do a special on all the small ghettos that aren't part of Kankakee proper?

getting bigger every day. Never in my life have I seen more multi-million dollar mansions being built in a place that used to be blue-collar tourism.

Thank you so so much for posting this beautiful video and stunning drone footage. Memories from when I visited here in August 1966 at age 14 just came flooding back. We drove here from Chicagoland and I remember seeing the faint line of the Rockies for the first time 90 miles away. Really appreciate how you wove the mountains and the town together. You are a natural at this and you have a way that makes one feel as if they are actually in the car. My two wishes are that as many people possible see this wonderous place and that you Chris discover hundreds more places meaningful for you to visit.

In the summer heat we would drive up to Estes Park from Loveland where we lived. Delightful drive, blessed relief from the heat.

Are you going to do a Telluride video eventually? I went there for my Uncle's and Aunt's wedding back in 2007. Now I know where The Stanley Hotel is! Maybe I should Honeymoon there one day if I ever get married.

Estes is beautiful. I grew up here, moved away, had to move back. Not leaving again if i can help it! Im very lucky to live here. However, I will say its difficult living and working here. Theres not much affordable housing for the people who make this town go. Most people have to work multiple jobs just to pay rent. Its just expensive in general. Most people w space to rent, make more money on short term rentals to visitors. Most residents who work their tails off all summer are glad when the crazy, crowded summer turns to fall. Working summertime in any hospitality job overwhelming. The town is constantly overflowing and crowded all summer. Good for business but awful for the average worker. On the flipside, ive always enjoyed meeting visitors from all over the world! Anyways, theres some perspective from a working resident.

Sorry Chris- Estes Park has become one of the biggest tourist's traps in Colorado. Do you like crowds? Do you like shopping for souvenirs,? Is it exciting for you to be around wall to wall people? Are you from Nebraska, Kansas, or Iowa and have never seen the mountains? Then Estes Park is the place for you!

In America, yes. Poor places means more bIack people and less people that have class. All the wealthy people, people who enjoy nice things and are worthwhile to talk to moved away a long long time ago.

Often times the beautiful places are more rural, where corporations and businesses set up shop in large metro areas where people live.
