    The Longitude is hands down one of the best planes in the sim, in my opinion. The level of detail, the depth of the G5000, it's AMAZING! I've had close to 1000 hours in MSFS and 95% of the time I'm in this aircraft.

    Thanks Matt, an incredible work for us; most of which most of us barely suspected existed. A systems depth many pay-ware planes do not provide...

    The C700 is amazing and one of the best AC for MSFS, but I miss a lot the fire Ext/Det system simulation, for a random engine fire, overheat, etc.

    Having flown nearly 1000hrs in this plane, the majority being since its revolutionary AAU, it's no surprise this is in my recommended videos. What does come as a surprise, however, is the depth of some of these system which I've never even considered going into. The robust and detailed avionics were expected, as is the reputation of Working Title ... but the fidelity and dedication to the systems definitely deserve this video. I always believed AAU sent this plane to being one of - if not, the best - aircraft in the base sim for its capabilities. It has always held its own league. Myself and others I fly with (and sometimes with YourControls - which certainly works well enough in this plane) have sent this thing all over the world in our MEDEVAC missions, and it's done everything asked of it. Great work!

    Awesome video! The Longitude has been my favorite default aircraft, and still one of my most used. The upgrades have turned it into a study level business jet, but most of all it's just fun to fly. After all the time I've spent in it, I'm blown away at how many of the systems are actually modelled after watching this vid.

    That was amazing. I'm fairly new to MSFS 2020 and the Cessna Citation Longitude became the aircraft that made it easy to learn one thing at a time on navigation while flying. I'm always looking for more in-depth explanations of this beautiful aircraft. This video is the absolute jackpot. The reference to aircraft manuals I didn't even know existed...chefs kiss.
    Thank you!

    Bloody hell bro. Lol incredible. !!!!! I've always loved this aircraft. And is the reason I got the premium version. Even on day one I giggled sitting in this thing and just looking at it. Like a monkey with an obelisk. Just beautiful. And youz guyz made it stunning.

    Incredible video showing the depth of the Garmin system you guys developed! WT team is such a treasure and we are so lucky to have you guys putting all this work into improving the sim! Cannot wait for the Epic system and the possibilities that will open up for future bizjets in MSFS. Thank you for all the hard work!!

    Wow. What a great Video which explained the functions about the Citation Longtitute in MSFS which gives you definetly another view on this plane. Great work! If it would have a Tablet with a Load Manager and so this would be the cherry on top! Love this accuracy. 😃💯❤

      @mattnischan582  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for the kind words, that's very generous of you!
      Given that there are only a very small number of load stations and a single set of tanks, we don't feel that something like a tablet with a load manager could add much to the experience; it would look basically the same as the sim's weight and balance panel.

      It wasn't a dig at X-Plane per say. But only at their fanboys when they claim MSFS is "purely an arcade game". 😎
      I started on X-Plane before obtaining my PPL here in the UK nearly 10 years ago.

      @@mattnischan582 I hear ya, Matt. I really respect what the guys and gals have done at LR with the resources they have. Thing is, at the rate you guys are going with 2024, you just might bump them out of the market. If the new sim's flight model is as good or better than theirs, there will be a mass exodus of the holdouts.

      @tubeloobs หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@LeSaxon90yeah I totally get where you're coming from. I don't have anything against LR (well except when Austin decides to say weird things from time to time) but some of their fans are just cringe

    Hi Matt, a really fantastic video on a great Aircraft. I think it is a fantastic idea to showcase the level of detail in the simulation in such a way. I certainly hope there will be a second video going into the avionics in detail. One question/critique on the Longitude as it is in the sim currently: Is there a reason why the the in game Check List is in such a dire state or are there plans to update it? I would love to see it being updated to include the Section 17 Normal Procedures from the Operators Guide where possible. Having Check List items read out by the copilot is quite a nice feature and can add a lot of immersion especially in VR where going through a PDF file can be cumbersome. It would also help simmers who are new to the longitude, such as myself, a lot with the initial familiarization with the aircraft. I have just started to use the Longitude more intensely a couple of days ago. To be honest, the missing in game checklists have put me off a bit and have sort of given me the impression that this airplanes simulation was a bit neglected so I never really started to fly it in the sim. Only after watching this video and flying it a bit more did I realize what a true gem it is and how wrong my perception of the depth of this aircraft has been. Great work on both the video and the Aircraft!

  • @MIKE_HUNT15
    @MIKE_HUNT15 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Thanks matt, this give me a whole new look towards the longitude. Originally I thought the longitude was not a study level plane. Are you guys going to make a functional HUD? I think a lot of us would absolutely love that.

    • @MIKE_HUNT15
      @MIKE_HUNT15 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The pdmg 737 hud is pretty good, I think it would get a lot more people flying the longitude. Nothings cooler than a biz jet with a head up display.

    • @mattnischan582
      @mattnischan582  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      When we worked on the plane, the HUD was not certified for use or installed in any aircraft; similarly we could not be granted access to any documentation for it.
      It actually just got certified for use a couple months ago only, and is installed presently in just a single Longitude. So, it's on our list but not a high priority at the moment, as IRL as a pilot you would never really encounter one.

      I know simmers love wingflex, but planes the size of the Longitude have little to no wingflex, so to add it would not really be very realistic.

    After wanting to get into flying a jet, I initially selected this one to fly. I think it was before WT had done anything to it. Since then, it has been a wonderful aircraft to fly. I did not realize how much work went into it. Great job.
